Hey guys so I was able to successfully make a monk build that will purely be used to help in the harder rifts. It does no damage but it will heal the DPS team by a major amount.
Tested and is Very helpful in Greater Rifts 27+
You generally want to go everything that has Life per Sec and the rest would obviously be All res, dex, vita, and armor if you can. This is not meant to do dps
The monk build I have allows me to share a portion of my Life per Sec regeneration and add that to your life per sec.Now this being said if you already have a good amount of life regen you can possibly get a whole lot more regen as I was testing this with a streamer [Michael13785 - HC DH Player which dh takes hit pretty bad. This would help in serious battles] and it bumped him up big.
Skills: This can be changed however you like but leave Mantra of Healing and Mystic Ally
I suppose this would have no use to a softcore player but it could help a lot in Hardcore scenarios
Here's the problem: Breath of Heaven heal range is 12 yards.
Otherwise this would be super nice and the way to go, agree, but 12 yards makes it useless for all ranged classes. And on greater rifts beyond level 30 most classes really just want to stay away from mobs...
You missing a helm that reduces 50% cd of breath of heaven and missing a lot of health globes bonus to be a real support since all support skills scales with this stat.
Anyways I would add cyclone strike with the freeze rune and palm to do an effective support tank build.
Currently at level 44. You are going to get eaten alive. And thats by white mobs. I can only assume that at level 56 (highest atm) even having HPS that is twice your health wont matter either unless you have other sources of damage mitigation.
level 27 is slightly harder than t6 which is not really hard.

try this build at lvl 70 not lower levels lol
Are you sure you are playing the PTR? cause anyone paying attention to the leader boards would know. But to be fair I didn't say it was Greater Rifts...thought it was implied.
There is nothing wrong with the build, I just simply think you won't make it past level 40 with it

This is not about toughness =D Maybe you didnt read it.
And in Higher rifts that are not T6 equiv, 7mill is not going to be CLOSE to being enough to survive allowing you to be the support, as you are going to get one shot.
You can craft gear sets and easily hit 17 almost 18mill toughness and still have the same regen and what not. You have a LOT of room for improvement.
yeah I did... supposedly it's about healing yourself and the party but how do you intend to do that when you - the main supporter of the group will get killed more often than the glass cannon classes in your party? who is going to heal them then, when you are dead 90% of the time ?:)
you be surprised how much I dont get killed. Maybe you don't know how to play it right. I myself have not died yet...I play on hardcore if you haven't noticed lol.
People are just better players than others. Btw I can get better gear that would buff me to 20-30m toughness and loss about 20k life per sec but it doesnt really matter.

In case that was not straight forward enough, then understand that the spec won't keep you alive against one white mob. The moment people in your group start dying (and they will), you won't be able to keep up with incoming damage.

What should I believe then... your reply saying you have gone as high as 68? or your original post that just mentions 27+ ... i mean... if you are going to show that a build works, why not go with the highest rather than the lowest from the very beginning?
