I feel like the patch notes don't really mention everything there is to know. There isn't really a how to that goes with the new features. How can we be effective with all the new features. Those of you who have had a lot of practice and get a firm grip on everything; could you possibly post some tips, tricks, and go to runs that you've found effective?
I don't really have a lot of time to spend in game figuring out what to do with all the new features. I'd just like to try out what makes sense to most. I have 1/2 hr to an hour every two days or so.
There's really no better way to explain all the new things. Everything changed. The complete patch notes are 55 pages (!) of changes (said a CM). To be honest: I haven't read everything either. Just play the game, you'll notice all the new things along the way :-)
If you have any specific question about a specific topic though, just specify your question.
We should all be so lucky. The game will last you years at that rate. The real fun of the game is the times when you are truly TRULY scavenging the landscape for equipment and slowly harvesting fight experience.
getting lost in the world of the game is much more fun than conquering all of the bridges dungeons and waypoints in a week and auto piloting through the same forest over and over again forever.
the most recent patch only serves to highlight this philosophy.
the best tip i can give you is to turn on advanced tool tips so that you can learn more about the skills as you use them. if i described a handful of the very best builds (if i even new them) I am effectively ruining the whole movie plot....
- I'm not the right guy to ask for efficiency, because I don't like that word. But in many threads were people asked for "most efficient routes", almost every act/area was mentioned, so it's safe to say "just go wherever you want to go".
- Just kill the key wardens when running random acts; you'll get the keys along the way. The drop chance is 25%-50% (T1-T6) so farming will take some time anyways. Enjoy it, don't make it a drag. If you already have a decent Hellfire Ring I'd say just skip it, there'll be new ones on level 70 anyways.
- Collect everything. Salvage everything. Craft like crazy, especially bracers, shoulders, and so on. If you don't have the recipes, they're quite cheap on the AH, and they drop very frequently since 2.0.1

What I would like is the most efficient item/XP run there is atm.
Should I still farm for keys?
Looking after crafting there is a new mat! Where do I get that mat. I destroyed items I found but did not find the item to be able to craft new gear
