Yeah, I got frustrated when ppl in my game started canceling my dialogue and cutscenes. I decided to go solo through normal so I can enjoy the story to the fullest.
yeah, i'm going to skip scenes so i can get through the game and enjoy the race to inferno, then i'll probably go back on my new character and watch everything properly, because theres only 1 race at the release when everyone is at equal gear level and knowledge of areas, but cinematics are always there

"If you don't have a TV, then what is all your furniture pointed at?"
Gonna race to hell/inferno but not gonna skip cinematics on my first run. D3 is supposed to be fun, making the race a fun-spoil factor doesn't seem wise to me.
I dont think people will be skipping cut scenes for the first few weeks as most people will be experiencing it for the first time, The beta was different because most people had already seen the SK cutscene far too many times.
Guild Wars had this neat system where you needed whole party pressing button to skip cutscene. It would play if at least one person wanted to watch it, and you couldn't see which in any way, it only showed that "7 out of 8 people wants to skip this cinematic". Others had to simply wait. It worked fine. Here one hyper-kid can cancel all the stuff. Not sure why they couldn't merge systems and skip them only if more than half people vote for it, best of both worlds.
That aside, in current implementation, I'm going to play normal solo first, slowly, with no rush etc.
I will skip cutscenes after I see them but I won't do it for a while. Firstly. I want to see them all the cut scenes at least once. Secondly, it's likely someone hasn't seen it yet so I wont be the one to skip the cut scene. I won't have a problem with other people skipping cut scenes because I usually repeat quests until I feel strong enough before moving on to the next big quest.

I don't have any RL friends that play and i don't want to have to play all through normal alone..
In open beta weekend every public game I joined someone skipped cut scene. I eventually just did it solo to see it.
I want to be able to open my game to public but I don't want the cut scenes to all get skipped.
I doubt it. I'd advise to play through normal solo, as I will, to get the full story experience, and then join others
you could play multiplayer, then go BACK and play solo when youre overgeared so power through it, to watch the cinematics
This.
And this.
If i get bored ill join pub games of something I've done already until I've beaten normal
well remember there is some story with the followers as well, so youll see I think a -little- more of that which is a plus
i wont let you watch them
