Bop system is trash and will destroy trading in any serious capacity (as it has done in WoW...we literally have an example of exactly what BoP item systems do to an economy staring us right in the face).

personally im tired of u guys complaining so let me lay it out for u guys.
no matter what blizz does people are gonna find a way to cheat even if they soulbind items or even make a pure mode it wont matter so stop complaining blizz knows what there gonna do to try to prevent cheating but they also know that it wont work.

imo BoPs and lack of trading in general will kill diablo. Blizz itself stated that some items are so rare that you will probably never find them - try trading them from other players. Trading with other players was a core feature of D2 and I guess it will stay so in D3.
Let's make a guess that blizz will be able to completely eliminate botting, cheating, etc. in D3 (though I highly doubt it). Fine.
But there's no way it will be able to stop the process of selling legitimately obtained items for real money. And if it will be profitable - than it will have a place in D3. And there will be shops, selling D3 items on-line for real money.
On the other hand - why should it bother me if someone decided and spent some money on some D3 item. This in no way concerns me and my playing experience - I'm easily playing with my friends and wouldn't give a damn if someone does it.
No...WoW has an economy for a bunch of trash, and enchanting mats to enhance the real items in the game: those obtainable only by raiding.
Diablo 2 had the best economy of any game I've ever played. There were people who literally did nothing but trade. Oh gee, I guess I could go spend some "gold" for mongoose mats and a shitty BoE epic. Thats a real economy!

Well that's the difference between you and me - you expect to be able to BUY everything while I work for my items.

As it should be. It's not stock market it's an RPG game.

Stop comparing WoW economy to Diablo. Its impossible, because the best items in WoW have 100% drop rate on a weekly boss. Best items in diablo have like .0001% drop on a infinite boss. You can't just 'work' for items in diablo. My friend could play 10x less than me and find a zod. He must have worked harder?
Anyways in normal diablo you work for items, then trade for the items you need. In wow you can just work for items you need. Thats the difference between diablo and wow.
Anyways I still think the lonewolf idea is fine, but dont go putting down people that trade for items they need instead of wearing a vamp gaze on a sorceress.
No such thing. Let it go. Power leveling is done by people, not bots. WoW only has spam bots, and there's an easy option to deal with that too.
You are wrong about WoW not having bots for powerleveling. I know this first hand. My first account was banned for using a program called wow glider. Look it up. Blizzard has a number of measures in place in WoW to reactively control boters and others who use bots to achieve financial gain. While there are power leveling services that do use a single person per character being leveled...i promise you that for each one of those who are performing a "service" that probably won't get you banned in WoW...there are 3 more that have one person who oversees multiple accounts being botted to 70.

Yes I know that. It's all random. You gain general wealth that you use as a currency. But the system turned to shit as soon as it was out and it was getting worse and worse until it was completely ruined with LoD. What makes you think D3 will be any better?

Actually, in WoW you work EXACTLY for the items you need. If you have enough skill and dedication you get what you need, you don't rely on random fool's luck.

Oh yeah? How do you suppose people in single player 'work for their items' without trading? And they do work for them, believe me, they do.
everyone stop bringing WoW into the disscustion WoW and diablo are to different games therefore the trade and economy wont be the same. Also soulbinding items will completely erase trade so stop sugestting it. Come up with an idea that will make trade a nesecary part of the game instead of getting rid of it.

So go on, report my post and wait for mod's decision, instead of giving advises none asked you to give.
(there is no site btw (yet). Is is a domain name)
Waiting for mods to clear up your mess is not the responsible thing to do. You violated the forum rules.
