I really don't know much people who appreciate Tristam all that much except Diablo fans. It's not amazing. It's good. Most of other music is pretty meh. I like music out of my fav video games, you like music out of your favorite games because you heard those track 300 times. Nothing wrong with that. Please don't bring Hitler in, that's just incredibly dumb.
Who besides a Diablo fan would have heard the music? Are you saying there are some sick sons of bijches in the world who played Diablo, and didn't like it?

Uh, plenty? I am really surprised that you assume anyone who played it likes it. Tons of people found it hella repetative. Seriously, get some sense, people...
The more people like the game, the more casual it is, the more easy is it to play... not that it's a bad or good thing, just pointing out that Diablo's high popularity is not something I consider an advantage.
He is a master composer. The Zelda soundtracks are epic and classic. Not epic in the traditional sense like oblivion or KOTOR soundtracks but more in a classic sort of way.

I don't like it because I've heard it often. I've played many games where I heard certain tracks often and I do not enjoy them at all (ie. guild wars). Tristram is still one of the best video game songs ever composed.. nothing can match the awesome guitar rifts of Uelmann and the dark and pervasive flute in the background.
The only songs that come close to me are Watchmen's Ease from oblivion and Richhouse from NWN.
Matt Uelmann pleeeeeeeeease. Diablo / Diablo II had such amazing music. I'm really SICK of all the other games with such boring ambient short sampled music. It makes a huge difference with the feel of the game.
I was very disappointed when I learnt that Matt Uelmen who has composed a brilliant, very atmospheric soundtrack to the first two parts of D is not on the board anymore. Now I'll have to turn on the soundtrack form the second part when playing, because what I've heard in teaser was embarrassing. I'm fed up with clichИ-orchestras a-la soundtrack to "Gladiator" and stuff like that. Of course, they are not bad in the essence, but the market is simply overloaded with such music, and there is no uniqueness. I'm not even mentioning the atmosphere it is supposed to create. That's the whole thing about the D2 it had absolutely uncommon, fantastic music that made a gamer feel the atmosphere times more! And now, in D3 I heard a primitive "evil" orchestra, that makes the game flat as a Hollywood cheesy horror-movie. This is clearly the tendency to make the cover look better than it should. And no one really cares what piece of shit it covers
I smell a train wreck waiting to happen here.
I just hope there aren't so many idiots to support this!

Diablo 3 is graphically and artistically great, there needs to be variety in the game, instead of only plain and dark areas!
+Wouldn't it be better and more interesting if from a sunny beautiful day, mist starts covering the screen, rain starts falling, thunders and lightning striking and it starts to darken, instead of constant dark!?
Nope, I got sick of the loops of music after the first 10 hours of gameplay. I think a better idea would be to just play music from iTunes (or whatever) while playing.

Who knows, but according to a post on diabloiinet all 19 of the original blizzard north guys from the first diablo are gone.
Maybe they don't like southern cali... or maybe southern cali doesn't like them!:P
Or maybe it's just too sunny and nice down there for games that look like this:
