100 million for the Warcraft movie? is it full CGI?
Spiderman2 cost 200 million
Spiderman3 cost around 258 million
BUT, the budget for Transformers (the movie im told has awesome CGI) was 147 million
i dont really know the specifics... im asuming that its going to be live action.... special effects of course but i dont think its going to be completely computer generated.
but i know... 100 mill doesnt really seem like a lot... especially if they wanna make a good lotr caliber type flick. i think they might need to increase it

Imagine how many people are going to watch it though.
Poseidon cost 120mil and only made 90mil.

Liar... ...
which part are you talking about?
i did pay to see the movie, i did buy the DVD, i did buy the graphic novel, 300 spartan warriors did fight at the battle of Thermopylae, (along with 500 Mantineans, 500 Tegeans, 120 Arcadian Orchomenos, 1,000 Other Arcadians, 400 Corinthians, 200 Phlians, 80 Mycenaeans, 700 Thespians, 400 Thebans, 1,000 Phocians, 13 Opuntian Locrians and it is also reported a further 900 Helots (Spartan serfs) were also invloved).
so there is some historic accuracy, i didnt say it was 100% fact, i just said it was historic, like Braveheart, there is some historic merit to it, but most of it is actually from Blind Harry's Poem "A Wallace"

The movie itself is actually very accurate to historic records and the other warriors were to guard the back entrance at hell's pass (if thats what it was called) They used the Phalanx and killed thousands of the Persians historically.
and I love that movie

Thermopylae literally translates to Hot Gates. Thermo = Hot, Pylae = Gates

Well, I didn't read through every single page in this, so I don't know if this suggestion was already put up or not. One thing that I would like to see in Diablo 3 is different kinds of arrows and bolts for bows and crossbows. It would add an interesting twist to the amazon classes. Possibly have the arrows be the base damage, and the bows add additional damage. Different effects of arrows. This could be done in either a simple manner, or comples. Simple in only having a small number of different types of arrows- (fire, cold, poison, lightning, magic, physical) damage types, or could go complex with all the prefixes and suffixes that are offered to other weapons. They can be "repaired" just like any other weapon, just restocked at a blacksmith for a price. I personally don't like the simple arrows and bolts in D2. What do you guyes think?
I think they're a fuss just because they're finite and that can be sort of annoying. But in the first Diablo, as long as you had a bow equipped, you would automatically have arrows.
Yes. You never know if you need to carry that extra quiver. Perhaps they should have infinite quivers, then we can have those have extra abilities and such.
Why not both? An infinite amount of arrows/bolts in every 'tube', but the arrows/bolts come in magic/rare/unique/set/crafted aswell... people would actually trade for arrows/bolts as they would effect the character greatly just like any other item on the character.
Do bows have durability? because im pretty sure they cant be ethereal...
Edit- i think Equinox basically said what i just said but when i read his post i didnt get it...

If gold was the main currency in Diablo3 then they could make it so Ethereal items remain more powerful, but instead of NOT being able to be repaired at all, it could be that they just cost several times more to be repaired?
Also, synergies.. they have their pros and cons but i think overall it limits the amount of builds players usually make per class
Although i wasnt really a big Diablo 2 player before the 1.10 synergies came out.. so maybe im just plain wrong
One thing i'd be nice is: No weapon (or item) effects that contradict them self. Such as: "ethereal, but repairs it self every 33 seconds"
agreed, while its nice to not have your ethereal weapon bust on you, it just seems silly.
