Ya frozen orb was awesome. If they were to make it in 3D, I think that would probably be too much. I dont want to see WoW graphics I want to see Diablo graphics. New characters, new skills, and new gear is what I want to see.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

The Diablo franchise will eventually have to slowly evolve into a more 3D environment, and I think Diablo III will be the next step into having more of a 3D world than the previous games.
What I really want to see is a 3d diablo world but still 3rd person.
Something where you can still view from the overhead look but also zoom in and out and look around.
I couldn't stand a diablo where you have to see through the eyes of the character or where the camera is stuck on the character auto-panning.
I love the UI for diablo, just needs a little modernizing. It's simple fun and one of the games you don't HAVE to play constantly to get anything done. That's what makes Diablo so intrancing.
Right now I'm playing eq2 until diabloIII is released and I don't like the spell/attack system, it's too slow and complicated... 2 spells to use, left and right mouse button, at a time is plenty for me.

And if you have a fully moveable camera, those who wish to keep the old view can still do so. Just set the camera in the right position and don't move it.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Yeah, I just really hope it doesn't have that cartoonish look of Warcraft 3. While the graphics are fun in that game, I love things look in Diablo 2. Although you couldn't zoom in much without it getting rather pixelated, the sacrifice of that was worth it. Cause everything looks gritty and real.

Especially cause I like the feeling and ambiance of the towns in Diablo, and I'd like to see a more intimate view of the buildings and taverns.
