An in-game control panel that allows players to adjust theHUE, SATURATION, BRIGHTNESS, and CONTRAST.
And/Or, the inclusion of some pre-madegamecolorswatches that are easily applied and changed during play (for people who don't have the patience to manually change the visuals or who just don't trust their artistic eye).
That way, the creators have stayed true to their vision of the game while satisfying the needs of those fans who are "disgruntled".
I'm confident that everyone would agree on this idea and that it wouldn't take much time at all to program some code into the game that could make it possible. (I don't know if people are already suggesting this or if Blizzard has already heard this idea, but if not, they should.)
I should have titled this post "when bored nerds get angry".
I figured I'd post my idea on the very slight chance that someone hasn't already suggested it and on the even more slight chance that someone who has the power to change the game actually reads these threads. But I should have known that if my post wasn't a full-blown geek out about something I hate, it wouldn't fit-in well in these forums. Anyway.
If you're pissed about the 3D models (which is the only other aspect to the "art" side of the game besides color) then that sucks for you because I sincerely doubt that the creators would ever take the time and effort to change them just because some nerds signed an angry petition.
P.S. Believe it or not (and I'm sure you won't) I've forgotten more about art and art history than you'll probably ever know. But that's ok.

You started a topic which can only end like the Hindenburg.
Unless they make some new features in the option tag you don't have the tools to make it look like it came out of photoshop. lowering all the gamma in the game isn't a solution.

You're right about that.
All I was lookin' to do was get something that I was thinking out there (inspite of the fact that I've come to grips with the idea that no Blizzard employee wants to be told how to do their job by a bunch of complaining nerds and will therefore never take their advice), unfortunately for me that idea is now in a pool of angry and bored kids who feel an undeserved sense of entitlement.
But fortunately for me, I've done what I wanted to do so I don't have to read the ensuing nerd-flame-fest.
Bonus: I made some geeks angry.
