so my question for you all If you are going as Barbarian for fyrst choice What follower are u gonna pcik my Pick is Templer
I think you've got to pick the Templar first, since he appears first in the story.
What follower will I keep when I've unlocked all three? Probably the Scoundrel. I'm not too bothered about what skills they come with, but he'll be a good place to dump any spare bows or cross bows i find, since i'll probably be playing defensively on my Barbarian and wouldn't want to share my drops with the Templar.
Out of all three, i think he'll probably be the most fun to listen to. The Templar's going to end up being stoic and full of "I'll save the princess!" lines, while the Enchantress looks like she might be abit of an air-head? It's just something in her stance and the way she looks pretty un-sure of herself. The Scoundral will hopefully be dropping one liners and sarcasm all the time though.

Definetly the Templar, since it's the first one which will be unlocked. This might change as I progress throughout the game. I think tho they all have great valuable abillities to help throughout solo gameplay.
If I'm going to be leap striking into things then I want a ranged class to back me up. So no Templar for me. I haven't seen enough of the sorc or scoundrel to really judge at this point.
So what if I don't want a follower? What do I miss? Do I miss something about the story or some conversations or what? Obviously I would miss a companion that helps with the monsters.
I kinda always hated the mercenary idea in D2 except for hiring one in Act2 to die for Duriel. In LOD it was pretty much a mandatory for extra damage and survivability but in Classic it wasn't usable since you couldn't keep one specific Mercenary so I kidna learned to play without one.
Templar for me, going heavy dmg build, so getting "defense" from a follower with heals and dmg share is super Imo
but cant say yet thou, aint tryed the beta and havent seen videos of the others
But atm i am going for the templar
I would have to say the scoundrel, he looks to be best suited for my play style. Added crit bonus, ranged so he won't be in my way.
I also think he may be able to take a hit or two compared to the enchantress. That's my two cents worth anyway
Scoundrel would be a good choice for the Barb, would be nice to have some ranged dmg plus the Scoundrel looks pretty cool. Gotta love the mustache lol. Scoundrel has some nice ranged abilities and a pretty good buff. I plan on trying them all, but im leaning towards the scoundrel for late game. Who knows yet, we've only seen the Templar so far.
I would personally choose the templar. His abilities and damage upon enemies esp mobs I think would be awesome. He can heal you and protect you as well. He can easily dish out a lot of damage with the equips you give him.
i would have to pick the enchantress as well do to all the buffs and debuffs that follower has to offer, which in turn i think would be more benfical then a minor healer/tank.
i mean i will try all of them to see which one really works the best as will every1 else, so we will have to see which one comes out on top

His auras and skills will do much to back me up!
Doesn't hurt to have someone share some of the damage with me!
