No, but really, I don't understand the question, I guess.
I'm excited for the game. But I'm not really waiting for it, truth be told. I have real life things to do; trying to further my film career, writing, being a dad. This is just a game that I hope to eventually play.
Again, I don't know what's being said here. Hope that answered it.
Then again to answer to the question myself, I am waiting for Diablo III for the sake of having something else to play for a while. I happened to play Diablo II through on normal solo (Im not into HC playing and solving Diablo II solo on normal is enough to satisfy me so dont hate me with all the "lol thats easy"-stuff. Just said to clarify at this point) which made me willing to order myself this game.
So I guess if I want to put it short i'd say that im waiting for Diablo III because I enjoy playing Diablo games.
I will be playing because I have looked forward to the release for so long now. When it was announced that D3 was real in 2008 I freaked. I have played Diablo 2 since patch 1.08, roughly 10-11 years of consistent playing (still have active accounts). What made that game glorious for me was more than simple game mechanics.
It was playing with my best friend all the time, helping him and working together to build wealth. Also it was participating in PVP, and making new characters when I got inspiration from someones build. This extended to maxing out every possible stat on every item to make my zealer hopefully one of the top 10 in a community ladder tournament. Working towards these goals was amazing. When Blizzard announced a patch that changed the synergies, or when they nerfed lifesteal, or changed so that barbarian weapons require attack speed to whirlwind properly, I adapted to all these changes. These breathed life into the game, things like enigma didn't ruin the game for me. They made it awesome by the builds they opened up and the adapation that was required in the game.
Now, fast foward and we have Diablo 3. Which has an even more exciting trading game through the RMAH. Building up your wealth should be amazing on that. We have really nice classes, that seem to be pretty evenly balanced and high skill variety with runestones. We don't have mana as our only resource that is completely depleted after 4 fireballs. They have taken the pains out of D2 and everything I've seen from D3, even though I may not initially agree with it (removal stat points), seems like a good option. The lore looks WAY better than before, the story and gameplay look amazing. I will be playing with the same friend who played Diablo 2 10 years ago, and we will be racing from the start. It's not just about a game it's about the enjoyment you get from doing the little things in it, and the friends you play with.
Playing Diablo III has been a dream of mine since they annouced they were making it. I knew my chances were slim to none in getting into beta. In regards to these beta contests I have never won one myself, but I still hope to get it. Every night I get on my knees and beg god to alow me to get into Diablo III beta.
Because D2 ate too many hours of my life for me to not play D3, I mean it would just be weird and unorthodox. I hope not to spend as much as I did a day playing D2 as I will with D3(as I'm older now......) but am looking forward to playing it and being behind the curve again(I never even knew about runewords and didn't care when I got a new rune for a very long time(I only played singleplayer) In short because it will be fun.

Before I started playing Warcraft 3 and soon after that World of Warcraft. I 've never heard of Diablo 1 or 2. When Diablo 3 was announced in 2008, I didn't know what to expect at first.
In 2009 I started playing other Blizzard games because they had become available for digital download. I started with Starcraft and then decided to pickup Diablo 2. I was hooked on both games in a matter of days and bought Starcraft 2 on the day of released. Diablo 3 will not be any different
Yea, no hack n slash game can even compare to diablo. Ive played a few that were fun, but I never invested nearly as many hours into those games than i did with diablo 2. I pretty much grew up on that game, and i hope that diablo 3 raises the bar even more!
Diablo 3 is one of the few interests my brother and I have in common as well as being one of the few interests my brother has period (but that's a story I won't bother you with any further). Diablo 3 gives me a chance to spend some time with my brother doing something we both like.
And of course kicking monsters' behinds while collecting better and better gear is great fun. ;-)
I am waiting because no games are fun anymore... Well sure some are for a bit. I only get on starwars to raid.. I play league of legends and its all the same. Diablo is always random and I can leave whenever without 20 people getting mad at me and I want to experience fun again
Jesus Christ its YOU not "u" a re people these days to lazy to type 3 letters?
This random post giveaway is getting out of hand, DF has become unreadable since that!
I will agree with you on that one... I don't even text like that I find it annoying I understand If you are typing fast in a game and fighting... but on a forum when you have all the time in the world to type normal.
On topic What I mean about experiencing fun again Is its been more then a month and I feel like video games are like a job right now that I don't get paid for
