Hopefully they will increase in beta invites to test out new features =)
im thinking no because all the people who already have beta access will come back to test them out so the invites will be minimal if not none at all. i expect a huge wave within a couple weeks once all the current members are bored of the changes

With all the core changes they have done its not a shock it would be a fairly large patch. Good to see its going out tho. I wonder if they will update the site as well.

I have been following the trends of the number of people in the public games, and I can tell you it`s a very low spike when there is a patch. People play, see the small content. And stop playing. Most of the people selected in the beta don't even check fansites, or official website.
They might not do a wave right away because they want to test the stability of the build first, but they will do one in the next couple of weeks for sure to keep a good group of people to test it.

I could see next week introducing another round of invites. This week is the patch and the last week of twitter contest. So the timing would be good.
I sure hope I get a beta invite soon. I want to try out these changes myself and see if I approve.
considering how many millions want in and how insanely few that get invited i stopped expecting or even hoping for an invite. even if the beta went on for a year the chances of getting invited into their small closed beta is like 1 in 100,000

i wish/hope tomorrow when they announce the Twitter winners for the week, they invite everyone who entered. 112,000 ppl might seem like a lot at first, but that isnt even a drop of how many ppl are gonna play release night.
You all havent missed out on anything before this patch, imo the game was gonna be a flop (to blizzards standards) before these changes, im looking forward to the patch tonight, to actually enjoy the game, it was boring and not addictive at all before.

Going to be a HUGE amount of people on release night. Like.. holy god
After every patch, I know that Blizzard likes to send beta invites out to test the patcher, yadda yadda yadda.
So after this large patch, I would suspect a wave of invites to be distributed. And hopefully a lot, because I'm sick of waiting for just a beta key. Seriously!

I know that feel, bro. Happiest moment of my life when I get a whisper whilst playing SC2 from a buddy. 'I got d3 beta, you want to use my account?'
on the topic of beta invites; I really think they should patch in a STUPID rare drop in diablo 2 that lets you cash in for a beta key. Get people burnin the midnight oil, breakin mice, and rapin the big 3 instead of raging on forum boards.
