Barbarian:
Threatening Shout (active) - Decreases enemy damage by 50% within 25 yards for 15 seconds
Monk:
Mantra of Conviction (active - alabaster) - Decreases enemy damage by 45% within 20 yards
Resolve (passive) - Decreases enemy damage by 10% every time you hit them for 2.5 seconds
Start: --100 dmg-- barb reduced dmg by 50% --50 dmg-- monk reduces dmg by 45% --27.5 dmg-- Monk reduces dmg by 10% End: --24.75 dmg--
So its a big decress, but I't wouldn't be 100% is my guess'
OR, it might just be biggest decrease takes it [d2]...
OR, only some of the spells combine (like 50 and 45 %'s would share the same "debuff" and then the 10% could stack with it)
lots of different ways it could go, I just dont see it being fully stack-able.
I doubt they stack, or it has diminishing returns after 50% or whatever...Blizzard isn't stupid, I don't think they would overlook something like that.
Not to mention, I think that is only physical damage (I assume), so elemental damage is a whole different story.

There's no mention of physical damage, so I'm pretty sure that you can debuff spell damage as well.

It could just be a given though. Lots of ways to look at this for sure, but theres no way its going to make it so the mob does 0% dmg (by all ways of attacking)
Just to give a similar example, In WoW no speed increase buffs stack. No resistance buffs stack either. I think this will be a similar case.
If I had to put any money on it, I would say Highest debuff trumps others. Followed second by HUGE diminishing returns after a certain amount (50%?). It is a pretty interesting point of discussion though.
Yea, I've never seen things stack up like I described in other games. I just thought it was interesting as I came across it while working on Barb/Monk duo builds.

If played right, you could keep 100% damage reduction up almost all the time on almost all enemies near you.
So much for Inferno being difficult.

Regardless, it's still pretty OP'd~
