No need to delete your post or anything. I have no qualms with anyone using anything relating to my spreadsheet. I posted it precisely so people could use it themselves or for people to addon to it if desired. Assuming the numbers are coming out correctly for you, it looks good.
So far I've avoided making people insert every stat of every piece of gear because all that really matters are the total stats and I only find myself comparing 1 item at a time. Well that and I didn't want to insert all the stats myself. Now with that said, I saw a really cool idea on another spreadsheet where the author computes EHP and total dps of each piece, which you can also include a gold value and look at some complex DPS/gold or EHP/gold or DPS/EHP calculations. While I might get around to doing that one day, I don't really feel the need to do so at this time.
I'm totally open to sharing any ideas or working together if you like, though at this time the only things I would like to add or change is some approximation for the +% to bleed for xxx-yyy, which I have not looked into, and whatever formula is used with +damage% on weapons, since every time I get a weapon with that stat I have to change one or both of the weapon damage stats by 0.25 to get the damage number to match. If ANYONE has any ideas about that, I'd love to hear them, or if you have any questions I'll try to answer when I can. Feel free to pm me since we probably don't need to bounce ideas back and forth in the thread.
i have dowenloede it and tryede it out thou for som wirde reason it says i got 2k dps more on the sheet than what i got ingame... and eveyting is to my knowlage put in right eney ideas? he is a screen shot of my wizzard

First off, did you set the "Bonus Damage from skills" box to 0 to match that shown on your char sheet? It's set to 15% by default since it seems most people, myself included, are using Glass Cannon passive. If that isn't the issue, then can you pm me or post your weapon stats, including weapon damage range, attacks/sec and any +attackspeed or +damage% if appropriate?
And LievenL is probably right about the gem, but you can use the spreadsheet to check, once you get it working right of course. Just do a weapon compare, use the same weapon stats for both but for the "Item 1" box just put negative values for +min and max damage matching that of the gem, and put the appropriate value for what green gem you'd put in. If I'm seeing that right, I think the red gem is +13-26? so you'd put -13 for min+dmg, -26 for max+dmg, then something like 45 for crit dmg % if that's the best one you have, since it's the best you can find laying around on the ground.
ther servers are going dowen now somting about emgerncity rolling restarts but i think the bonus damage from skills is the ticker as i dont use glass cannon and the 2k sounds about right for thous 15% sorry about missing that .. huge probs thou for the spredsheet i love it so muce... now i just whana decied if 2800 hitpoints vs 1500 damage whats the best to get

Which 1 did you download the 1 I posted or Loreone? If you downloaded Loreone's then maybe try mine (I need ppl to test mine) if you did download mine download Loreone's double checking doesn't hurt. And just a tip I think a green gem in your 1H would give you more benefit than a red gem
i got the one from the first post will look at yours as well ( when the servers are back op) and thanks for the tip whit the green gem will defently look at it as i am doing what i can to make suer doing butcher runs goes faster and faster ( wishe i hade a wizspike and the ocules offhand thou)

To check HP vs DPS, you can use the EHP calculator in the spreadsheet. As long as you keep above 126k EHP, i'd go with the extra DPS. Once I found out my EHP I cut a decent amount of resists and HP to gain a fair amount of dps and haven't noticed a lot of difference in survivability. If anything it's nicer having a smaller health pool because it's easier to regenerate it faster, and health pots become more useful. On a side note, I need to update my spreadsheet really fast because I used 174k instead of 170k for mob attacks, meaning the EHP threshholds are a little higher than needed.

Is there anything like this to switch from items? For xample if I want to upgrade my amu/ring. I have a +270 int +13 ias +7% life ring and I want to upgrade it. I bought a amu with +48% crit +6% hit +14 ias and only gave me only 500 damage increase so I sold it again. I really thought it would give me a bigger increase so a progrem could helm me on that before I buy?.

if you look up the spreadsheet, youll see that you can change stats like intelligence, ias from off weapon equipment, critical chance and damage, so all you have to do is fill those in the spreadsheet and make the comparison.
Minor update: I added values for +EHP per vit, armor, resist, and % life, simliar to the relative dps gains, in case you want to know how each stat affects your EHP. Keep in mind the values are unlikely to be linnear so while 1 armor might give you 27 EHP, 100 armor won't necessarily give you 2700 EHP, especially once you start changing around stats, like armor for resist, vit for % life, etc. I still recommend using the item comparison for more detailed information but it might give good information on where to start when looking for gear on the AH.
I just made a fairly significant update in the form of adding a new link with a more detailed spreadsheet. The new spreadsheet has all the capabilities of the previous version, which should still be available. I have edited the original post to include the link but included it here for reference also.
The addition is in the form of a new tab where you can insert all the details of your equipped items. In return, the spreadsheet computes what your dps would be without that particular item, or in essence computes the dps contribution by that item. It also sorts the different slots in order of which provides the most dps to make it easy to tell what items are slacking in that department. It also computes the EHP contribution in the same way and reports that value for each item with the reported dps value. It does not rank your items in terms of EHP, only DPS. Once you have that sheet filled out, you can then copy and paste the appropriate values into the Main tab to do item comparisons, and you can also copy and paste the equipped stats since the stat order is the same for both pages. For example, if I wanted to compare gloves, I could copy and paste the rows from Intellect to +attack speed from the Equipped Items tab, then paste them in the Main tab in the Equipped column.
Thanks for this I can't use it, because I've never used a spreadsheet before so I likely don't have the required software on my computer, but I do appreciate you making this for the community If there was someway to explain exactly what to do to use this, I'd give it a try too, but that's a bit much to ask >.>

You need some spreadsheet reading software to be able to open the file once you download it. I used Microsoft Office to create it, but if you don't have that I you should be able to open it with OpenOffice, which I believe is freeware. I've never used it before though so I don't know a lot about it.
Yet another somewhat major update to my item comparison capabilities. I added yet another tab where you can compare each slot specifically and simultaneously.
For example, if you're not sure if you want to upgrade your gloves or bracers, you can put in the new gloves and the new bracers at the same time and see which will give you more of a dps gain. The spreadsheet will also tell you what your new EHP will be with the new item. Finally, if you so desire, you can put the cost of each item and it will compute a "Cost per DPS gained" value so you can see which is giving you the best upgrade for your money. I chose cost per dps over the inverse, DPS per gold, because this way you're not dealing with decimals. If one item has a lower Cost per DPS value than another, then you're spending less money to get the same dps, relatively speaking because most likely each item is a different DPS.
Note that the Cost box is completely optional, and the survivability stats like Str, Armor, Vit, etc have no effect on your dps so you can omit those values if all you really care about is the DPS comparison.
While that calculation does seem to be correct to match the in game DN, since the going theory is that the buff makes the DN erroneous, I'm wanting to keep Magic Weapon out of my spreadsheet until the tooltip error is corrected for fear it might lead to some inconsistant results.
For reference, I checked the MW numbers really quickly and it seems that if you set your bonus damage to 30% with MW - Force Weapon active, then multiply the resulting dps by 1.14990224739658, you get a number within 1-2 decimals.
