Build Guide
Hey guys!
I levelled a lot of gems and farmed a lot of gr keys with this build in the past and in 2.6.1 it became so much stronger!.
Very fast in solo and group.
Keep in mind it's a SPEEDFARMING build and not a GR push build, so they key is to kill everything fast and move as fast as possible.
If you can't kill everything in 1-2 blow because of low paragon/low damage/etc then just lower the difficulty. Not need to frustrate yourself and crawl through high tier content slowly.
I do T13 in about 2,5-3,5 minutes at p1500 and no augments and 1,8 mill damage.
What i like about monk in general is that he's very flexible with skills. You can stack a tonn of damage or you can stack a lot of toughness, or a mix of both.
I will describe a few options and combinations of skills.
Why no Cyclone Strike - IMPLOSION by default?
It's a very spirit-hungry skill. If you will spam it along with seven-sided strike, you will be out of spirit pretty fast, and you don't really want to spend a lot of time "generating" spirit. During my runs i realized i don't really need implosion at all most of the times and switched to extra mantra for damage.
Why no Gungdo Gear by default?
Not really needed since we are supposed to kill everything from single cast of Seven Sided Strike and it applies EP everytime it hits (through Madstone). Extra spawned elites in rifts = more globes-> faster progression -> more loot.

Thanx for the downvote.
It's not bad, but i don't like it. Playing without Flow of Eternity becomes too elite-dependent. He was fucked through the rift many times with SSS on cooldown, tried to move around grouping shit. Not good. NOT bad too, but different style which i don't personally like. Lacking SSS cooldown and compensating that with massive explosions with the Fist. If he won't find elites = he's fucked with the terribly long SSS cooldown.
It can be really good like in these good elite-packed rifts he had, or terribly bad in rifts without elites. My build however, perform equally in any rift.
Hey, Im running this build with all the correct rolls on items.. Only got 2 ancients and rank 25 leg gems. I'm using the def passive skills and res gems in armor all the highest rank gems.. I got 822k dmg, 24m toughness, 5m recovery also using Esoteric Alteration as total I only have 225k HP so without that gem and the def passives my toughness is only 13m and its scary...
I got 2 questions though with in-geom I don't see it proc that much like maybe once or twice in a rift or grift or not at all.. My cdr is 54% also just saying.
The question is what makes in-geom proc and how to make it proc more often also even with the 822k dmg I find I don't kill elites super fast, it may take 2-3 seven sided strikes to drop a elite pack on T11 or Grift 55, I got 677 para just wanting to know is there anything I need to do more to get more dmg out.. I am farming a heap to try get ancients but they don't drop that much..
Very low gems.
Drop torment to 7-10 for now.
You can also try to cube rorg and use levebres shoulders for extra toughness with implosion instead of mantra. Have to regen more spirit though through generator.
Also use guardian's path instead of Mythic Rythm.
I mainly play with my friend who is also a monk and we rip through T11 in around 4 min or less.. In grift 55 we do it in 6 min atm. I have no issue with dieing.. I just skip around with dashing strike and pop epiphany, solo I prob could do it faster. I don't really need implosion as I have no trouble with killing things in a large area and I don't use mythic rythm. As much as I'd like 1400 para I don't have it and as much as I'd like 2 mill dmg again I don't have that.. I will only have it if I get ancients which I don't think i will get anytime soon even if I reroll every set peice I got 30+ times which some of them I have and only got 1 ancient
great build
