BlizzCon 2016 Goodies Revealed

Blizzard recently unveiled what players will get by attending BlizzCon of through a virtual ticket. Diablo 3 players will receive an exclusive pet to celebrate Diablo's 20th anniversary - the Lord of Terror himself! On his classic form. See below.

Potential D2 HD Hoax

A new website named diablo2hd.com was noticed by mfw_high, with the message "Evil Has Survived" and a countdown on its front page. Players generally agree that it does not look legit, based on the style, domain and other factors. What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments!

You should remove the "potential" in the title.

This is so likely to be a hoax that it should be your duty to a) don't talk about the hoax or warn people that it is 99% sure a hoax. At the moment there is absolutely nothing to sustain the fact that it is for realsies.

D2 HD is a hoax for sure. I know Blizz has issues, but using GoDaddy for domain hosting would be pretty ghetto for a company of any size.

As for the in-game goodies for D3, I totally agree with the others that this is by far thier worst offering and will not entice anyone via that offer. What they offered in the past has been way better and was a decent selling point, but this go around can't see the justification. Also, in the past there was "something" expected from the D3 developers that wanted us to watch, with this year expecting nothing (being a realist here) I have no incentive to excitedly watch and pay for no goodies or news about the title....

To be honest it was quite obvious from the beginning. The only reason I used "potential" on the title was in case I missed something about it - as has happened in the past regarding weird stuff like this. Sorry if this caused any confusion.

The countdown to realize that D2 was really really good, even GREAT........ 15 years ago........ but is utter garbage in 2016
