Just pointing at a contradiction in your posts. I think that's a ligitimate thing to do when discussing a topic with other people.
I haven't thrown any degrading comments just my first post said in general that people are "Jealous / dumb" and you took it personally.
You can't scale down content to your "shitgear" and act as if it's a valid type of criticism. You have no experience in softcore gr 40+ and that says a lot. No one here cares about hardcore gr 33 seriously.
This argument "who took the max greater rift level u can do whilst still having ur spec killing it" in my opinion is complete bullshit. There's no basis to it other than your personal preference and again since you only play hardcore i think that your personal preference is not that relevant in this context since it looks like you are trying to force hc principals onto sc.
All you feel coming from me "is a a reason to discuss, or personal banters against me" I guess you meant to add a "not" there in the beginning? Anyway, nothing personal, we are discussing. You criticize the topic i criticize your criticism. Again, legitimate in my opinion.
You can leave out the i won't reply to you part because clearly everytime you eventually do.

You didn't watch the video. It's not a zombie rift. Actually quite a hard one with some very difficult pack combos like molten + electrified + reflect on a double pack.
GR 33 is nothing. You can kill the GR very easily even with just using frenzy instead of cota.
It's good that you've made it clear that you have no experience in GR 40+ solo barb attempts because now we know what your experience is.
You just can't accept the fact that this is indeed a great achievement that is hard to acomplish and 99% of the people with the same gear, including me and you, wouldn't have made it. -

Yes, it saddens me as well. Please people, if you don't like what OP does than criticize it in a polite manner, but not this Battle.Net style. We are a friendly community here, if you can't find anything nice to say then don't say anything. Fortunately, it just comes across as the majority because they're the "loudest" people. I counted the attitude of replies and of 24 individual posters only 5 forgot to acknowledge OPs achievement, so not all hope is lost.Quote from maratini
So much hating going on in this thread.
I'd like to point out two things:
1) Dutchfreak posted the following in his guide to this build:
We are forced to get as much aoe damage as possible, and search for a conduit to kill the rift gaurdian with. I do not like this style, but blizzard is forcing me to do so.
I think there's nothing to add. It's not like he wants to run through a rift for 14:45 minutes, always on the edge of his seat, just to find out he can't clear it (not even in 25 minutes for the gem upgrade). Plus, it's not his fault that the barb has no means to kill a Rift Guardian - blame Blizzard for it, please.
2) To anyone who thinks this is "easy" or requires no skill, please give it a try. And I don't mean go and try this on T6, but actually try to put on gear/spec similar to Dutchfreak and start a 45+ solo GR or whatever highest key you can "waste". Try to finish it (excluding the Rift Guardian) in less than 15 minutes, or let's say, just 20 minutes. Hint: you most likely won't be able to. Any slight mistake will lead to your instant death. A wrong movement, a mob that resists the charge and is left behind and not immediately picked up, a reflect/fire chains pack you engage without popping your cooldowns, or a simple thing as a door will get you killed. Over and over again. Clearing a GR47 rift in 8 minutes - and not even zombies - is just nothing but absolutely oustanding and impressive. Simply because... if you've ever done this, you know how difficult this is. (I've all classes on GR40+ and this is by far the most difficult one, in my opinion.)
Anyways - show some respect and re-think your attitude. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but above all we are a community of Diablo Fans and should treat each other respectfully.
As I've said before - awesome display of gameplay, Dutchfreak. Carry on! I'm sure you're gonna show all those guys how to do it without Conduit in season 2, once Blizzard fixes things ;-) -

Smart use of game mechanics =/= exploit. Again, jealousy from those a) without a Furnace and who didn't get in on it while it was there.Quote from Derpinatoor
Technically it's not a bug but an exploit, a bug would have been malthael giving too much xp with legit malthael runs, and the exploit is abusing the checkpoint by putting an "afk player" in a game doing nothing but keeping the checkpoint just at the entrance of the boss and people joining/leaving his game every time to get the checkpoint.Quote from undefined »
It's sad that you're a part of this btw, i watched a few of your videos and you seemed like a nice guy. But people gonna hate exploiters you know, and also the developers for not having done anything
I have some news for you ... there will be plenty of 'exploits' come 2.1, many of which I'm testing releasing PTR videos about. Also known as game mechanic synergy.
PS. According to your logic, Rift it Forward is an exploit. I guess you hate the hundred thousand or so people who run RIF too.
In your now locked thread, you claimed to bot 24/7 on 200 accounts ... and you're talking about exploits? Why are you complaining about this when you claim to do something that's bannable offense? Thought so.Quote from Botter4Life
Sorry to say it but there is nothing "historical", and definitely no real accomplishment here. 95% of his paragon levels were using exp exploits and as a poster below stated:Quote from undefined »
Guess you'll be dishing out a lot of scrutiny come 2.1 then.Quote from baabayaga
Call it whatever you want buddy. Using a bug or exploit grants you 0 respect. Only scrutiny.Quote from undefined »
People get jealous and will simply never admit to it. I'm sure Blizzard has scanned the top players again and again and again. Do you really think the top paragon player in the world would be botting and not be banned by now?Quote from KennyisnotdeadExploits are moving through walls and running under maps. Basically breaking the game. Using checkpoints and other people is smart use of game mechanics. Blizzard has probably scanned him with warden a couple dozen times and simulated his strat over and over they know what hes been doing its not hard to notice a guy who is plvl 900+.
All blizz games especially wow has had a ton of well out of reach goals that required HUGE repetition. They even had or have a title called "the Insane" for just that reason.
I'm telling you guys, just wait for 2.1. Tons of 'exploits' coming. And the QQ from casuals who will never hit Top 100 will be a thousand fold worse than whining about the top para player. -

why would anyone be jelly of someone getting plevel 1000 lol (meatheadmikhail) comeon on man use common sense even alkaizer said it was pointless and a waste of time to try and race to 1000 it require no skill and is bad for your health, in the next patch seasons you can't use your normal character you start from scratch.
If this was hardcore I would actually be impressed but it is not.
It's all jealousy. PS. Not everyone will be playing seasons, and I doubt most will do so exclusively. I'll definitely play, but it'll probably be 25% seasons 75% non. When you're high enough paragon the game becomes trivial and starting from scratch just to get some meh legendaries 2-3 months earlier isn't that enticing for some people.
The rage is coming from jealousy. Yes, we all ran with him and helped him, but to be fair he played 20 hours/day for a long time. I don't know how he did it.Quote from dezien
its cool, and i dont see why the rage is coming, well its the internet. My only problem is it feels like gaby is selling it as his awesomeness carried him to 1k while it was his clan members. :/ Its more like your clan reached 1k and not him.
So the fact someone broke 1k is cool, although not even half as big of a deal as 800, breaking 800 is historical, breaking 1k is just fun.
Same how breaking 100 was historical in d3v and getting "1000" 10x100 was a fun fact.
What's the point of trolling?Quote from Vaestmannaeyjar
What's the point of giving advertising clicks to a bot user ?
Yup. Like thousands of other players. And guess what - it was a 'bug' that Blizzard knew about, and left in the game for MONTHS when it would have taken a programmer maybe a day to reduce the XP he granted. Don't hate the players, hate the game. Jelly.Quote from Coldfire989
So you all ran the Meth exploit together as a clan? yay? -

Draco_Draco posted a message on 220k HP 2473k paper solo dps melting everything ~ can you compete with this? Here's the thing Comrade - you're not doing this faster than other people, the build is the exact same as every single other mirrorball build (as an example, here is my wizard in it's mirrorball build, which I have not actually played for about three months at this point due to my marauder DH being more fun: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Draco-2719/hero/35820468 [yea, no fire dmg/int/crit/critdmg neck found. Ever. It sucks] ).Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Now, let's adress a few contradictions / issues with what you have said so far:
You claim to rely on Mirrorball and it's initial hits for your damage, not the DoT. *Everyone* is doing that in a proper mirrorball build. You are wasting a ton of stats on trying to build around Vyr's, which is very inefficient in a solo game - Unity+SoJ is a far better combo than RoRG+either, and wasting 3x pieces for Vyr's measely -20 sec duration. You should be able to beat basicly every combo without Archon. You shouldn't rely on it - you should use it as your emergency tool to beat an especially nasty combo of affixes. If you want to rely on Archon uptime, you build around Archon and actually go full out CDR. Going halfway between both is just a waste of stats.
Difference between our gear can basicly be summarised like this -
I lose out on Andariels because of no RORG.
I lose out on Vyr's 4 set because of no RORG.
I gain Cindercoat because I don't use vyrs (this evens out andariels').
I gain SoJ because I don't use RoRG (This gives 20% elemental dmg and 30% elite dmg you don't have, although I lose 50% crit dmg and 7% IAS).
I gain cains 2 set because I don't use vyrs (this gives me 8% IAS, so makes up for the loss of ring).
So TL;DR version -
Minus Vyrs (-500 int, -20 sec on archon CD, -22% dmg in Archon)
Minus 50% crit dmg.
Plus 20% fire dmg at all times.
Plus 30% elite dmg at all times.
Building on that same train of thought, taking evocation just for a 20% reduction in archon cooldown is... Very, very inefficient. You are leaving out an insane talent such as Conflagration - 6% crit chance on every single attack after the first. To put it this way, 6% crit increases your damage a little more than half as much as Glass cannon, but with no downside. And it's stronger than one stack of EE (building the second stack relies on either luck from a thunderfury proc or your black hole).
Likewise, you claim to not "Need" the survivability, and I agree - but why the fuck do you then contradict yourself and use Prismatic armor rather than Pinpoint barrier?
Lastly, your paragon point priorities (and your shoulder stats) are waaay off. Area damage is *incredible* for this build because of a few reasons:
1: Mirrorball means each "single" attack has 3x chances to trigger the AOE-proc.
2: Ignite is a fairly limited spell AOE-wise. It pierces, but it doesn't really decimate groups of trash. Your AOE-damage does that for you. Same as elite mobs - with 4x elite mobs, 3x hits per ball, it means that you'll trigger roughly 2 AOE procs on a pack of elites per shot. For me, they do 70% of the original damage.
Likewise, you never really explain why attack speed > CDR in paragon points, except for a vague "it feels nice". You have no math behind it (not that I disagree, but you seem to value CDR far higher than me - for example, taking it on your source/shoulders. It also doesn't make sense that you'd take IAS on Andariels over 12.5% CDR, when you choose IAS over CDR in paragon points and both gets .20 value per point, considering how highly you value CDR).
Put it this way - I die once every 3-4 rifts (mostly due to stupid affix combos) and clear at an average rate of 9 minutes per rift in my current gear. The build is nothing revolutionary, it's been around forever, you're slow and aren't really utilising it correct. You can keep arguing that "pro's" are worse, but you've provided no evidence of it. No one is struggling to survive T6 with 15M HP+Unity. That's simply not going to happen. They're not dying 5x times as much as you - I have no gameplay footage of you, but with just 200K hp and your defences, there's no way that you're *not* occasionally dying.
Also, the build pretty much has to be completly redone next patch due to firebirds and various balance changes, so there's that. -

Your just kiting with mirrorball and using archon on cd for high burst..? I don't see how that's different to how every other mirrorball build playsQuote from Comrade_www.twitch.tv/comradez just see for your self ))
I'm not saying the build doesn't work, i'm just saying it's no different to every other mirrorball wizard and if we were to talk numbers your clear speed is hardly what I would consider "unreachable performance". -
