This whole idea of stacking +elite damage isnt bad, but there is no point to this if you dont use a SoJ, overall, all your gear doesnt reach the +30% dmg to elites a single SoJ would suppy.
well just to let you know man ive already tried alot of setups with a soj and couldnt get anywhere near the elite dmg and standard dmg that i have with this setup. this is more effective.
with a soj you lose tons of main stat, crit chance, ias, chd all at once. plus you will lose dps and ehp trying to reach your ww break point with a soj.
maybe you should look into it yourself. d3rawr.com will help you equate your overall setup.
lol for 1 that is not FoM for 2 was this before most recent patch or after because if it was BEFORE patch.... drop rates on monsters weren't nerfed like they are now.

taking a short video of 1 or 2 legs dropping and saying well i got this leg within 2 minutes of my run i guess ill be getting a leg every 2 minutes is pretty stupid.
trust me i used to do keeps 2 myself and i got tons of legs in a very short time then after about 3-5 of them NO MORE WOULD DROP AT ALL!!!!! nice farming technique bruh!
through my experience of farming a1 i seem to be getting the most legendaries out of 3 easy areas in it. these 3 areas are Fields of Misery/Wheeping Hollow/Cursed Hold. i chose these 3 areas because that is where the most legs have dropped for me in a1 and they are VERY easy to farm... so now ive come up with a good farming route for an optimal EASY way of farming legendaries.
load cursed hold quest of act 1.
Festering to Leoric's Manor to Leoric's Court Yard for 5 stacks. If you get 5 stacks in festering DO NOT GO TO LEORIC'S! Once you kill the elite in leoric's court yard, IF NEEDED!, or get your 5 stacks in festering IMMEDIATELY go to either Fields of Misery OR Cemetery/Wheeping Hollow either of the 2 can come first it does not matter but you should clear both areas and caves in both FoM/Wheeping. The only thing you should not do in these areas is the khazra den in FoM... DO NOT TOUCH CEMETERY DUNGEONS. as a side quest when you hit cemetery wp before entering wheeping hollow you can circle once to find the random spawned elite THATS YOUR CHOICE! now once you are done with both FoM/Wheeping take halls 2 wp and go STRAIGHT TO cursed hold. kill warden and you are done. as another side quest you can go ahead and kill the butcher. NOW RINSE AND REPEAT!
the only way this will work for you is if you do it on the HIGHEST MP possible that you are most EFFECTIVE at killing FAST!
I shall now call this Masterpoo's 3 Special Steps Route!
with the 100m budget Trashfarm Barb i mentioned before you can efficiently farm MP10 Fields, you probably you wont get the maximum out of it, but you should at least be able to get up to 7-8 Legendarys/Hour
show me 1 guy that can on a 100m budget and ill shit myself. farming mp 10 with very low dps is a no no we all know that. if you have low dps a lower mp would be better for your farming not mp 10.
sure i bet people with godly gear get 7+ legs per hour in FoM trash farming but in no way will a 200k dps character be able to do that.
believe me i used to only trash farm mp 10 FoM and never got no where near 7+ legs per hour lol.
if you plan on leg farming mp 10 better get 500k+ dps
because its not worth it, FoM is better than WH, and getting 5 NV would cost too much time for what it does
wheeping is boss thats where i found my 1.5b mempo and i get set items in there all the time...
well im going to start a festering/leorics 5 stack to FoM/Wheeping run on mp 7 which my barb is geared for and ill get back to you personally with my findings im thinking it might work out REALLY good or REALLY bad we'll see...
and really that mp 10 farming would have to require GODLY gear and massive steam rolling to get that amount of legs per hour... trying it with mediocre mp 10 gear would be a waste of time... what is good for godly gear as far as leg farming goes is not good for mediocre gear....
THE REAL SECRET TO LEG FARMING IS KILLING FAST ON HIGH MP.... plus having max mf/5 stacks, having a good route, and having a very efficient play style + build. for some reason im kinda iffy about partying for legs seems not to work out for me... i dont want to start another leg conspiracy but i do believe partying for legs may some how be bugged....

Well as far as farming Legendarys a Trashfarm barb which you can get for around 100m would be better.
But i think for Elite farming your setup could do pretty well budget wise, i am not to familiar with the prices for that but i think a normal hota build for mp5/6 should cost 100-150m.
as ive learned from my play time and experience trash farming is what it is called "trash" farming. also this is not just based around the hota build this is built around the 2.85 ww break point using the ww, rend, AND hota spec.....

well as you can see i have 3 crafted parts gloves/bracers/ammy i cannot set a price on those because they are based on a roll of luck but those can easily be replaced with budget items like ik gloves/strong arm bracers/rare or leg ammy. now as far as the shoulders you can buy 5-10m rare shoulders that will do the job but you can also chose to craft them as well. helm i dont think i spent no more then 10m on that mempo but you can chose to go with a budget andariels helm as well. chest was no more then 10m. pants no more then 10m. unity 20m. wailing host 20-50m, they are rarely put on ah with avg dmg. ice climbers with no ms 10m or you can chose to go with any other boots you want... witching hour about 25-50m. BKWB mighty weapon 10m. IAS/OS EF 50-100m. the gems are really not necessary so you can cut your budget on those by alot as well. you can go with a AR witching hour with less str... you can get a wailing host with no avg dmg... you can get a lower dps ias/os EF...
so you can basically do this setup with about 100m-300m.... which to some may not be "budget" but i believe it is budget for what this setup can do... do any of you know of a setup cheaper that can do better farming wise or just elites?

well my barb isnt geared for mp 10 i only farm mp 7 and i had to change my build for ghom to stay alive... my build and setup isnt particularly for single target bosses as i use brawler and continuous poison on a no life steal barb is bad. i switched brawler to superstition because brawler becomes a dead waisted skill on single targets. i also tried one run using killing spree and 1 using hota. also you have to keep in mind that this is a farming setup not uber/bosses setup.
keep in mind this is on mp 7 in which i geared my barb for. also what are we comparing here? my budget setup compaired to all other budget setups or my budget setup compared to this guys trifecta crafted and multi crafted item setup with high end items that are no where near budget? if im going to compair my budget setup to this guys very costly setup then i would also like to see him do a mp 7 ghom kill then i will compair the time that he kills him in percentage to my time then we can compair how much gold we put into our gears. if its not more then a 50% time decrease and costs over 500m+ more then mine.... then.... ITS NOT WORTH IT!
if you would like i can show you what the setup is intended for it will only take me about 40-50 minutes when no one is watching and i have full dedicated bandwith on my 1mbps connection to be able to actually use the build and attack without pinging up to 200+ ms while streaming. im not going to waste my time recording a video then encoding it and uploading to youtube on 1mbps upload speed.
