    Allow me to explain then. First i had all this same gear when i beat the game, sans the weapon. And it wasnt anywhere near this easy before the pet buff in 1.04, i had to kite him around and it wasnt a joke like it is in the vid. Again im not trying to show off any skill. But as i read forums and see people still having issues with a3 and beyond, i post vids like this to show how easy it can be with avg DPS, HP and Resists, if you just spec correctly for the fight. Most importantly its to show other WD's how much pets can truly do. When the patch first hit I just stuck to farming A1/A2 with VQ and bears. Honestly i was unwilling to let go of PtV, VQ and BBV, I thought pets would be horrible, but after much reluctance i tried A3 like this and now thats all i farm. So thanks for all the replies even if they were negative.

    Not by any means an optimized speed kill, just showing how easy it is with pets.

    As noted in the video, Spirit Vessel is just there for insurance, you can use whatever.

    Havent noticed the all res, but ive notice a spike in +armor frequency. Ive had a few helms with like 600+ armor.

So what right? They can just sell off that pesky 1293 DPS 1h for a 1067 one, right? Fact is its only the two most important adventuring stats that will suffer this fate.

    Yes but the cap is LOWER then what can be gotten with gear. Again, you will be getting passive DPS and survivability boosts with Paragon, should they start making DPS and DEF caps too? 1000k max resists???

    Good luck, Blizz does indeed cave in (see Death Knight fiasco) but Id bet they would make Paragon account wide before they lifted the cap. JW is Hell bent to equalize the drop rates at the top. THE HOUSE MUST MAINTAIN ALL ADVANTAGES!

    If they capped DPS at 50k and only let you get 10k more through Paragon, people would be hitting the roof. I mean so what if you got more DPS on your gear already then the cap allows, now you can just sell it off for better Defensive stats, hooray! I mean come on it will be a few months before you hit the DPS cap, so that makes it OK right??!?!

    All apologetics aside, i feel for the OP. I dont care if hes not at the cap yet or if hes got 6mos to worry about it. Its the long slow death of magic find as i see it. I played D2 for around 10 years, with the intent to play this game as long as possible, so yes, maybe its going to be a few months or a year before all MF is equal among top end game players, but thats like the first 1/10th of my future D3 carrer. So potentially the overwhelming majority of my D3 life will have been spent MF capped. Im not cool with that, sorry.

    From the preview:
    "Speaking of how a skill feels, the reason players avoid many of the lesser used witch doctor skills have more to do with the skill feeling "slow." For example, Firebomb, Plague of Toads, and Corpse Spiders all have animation timing issues which are being improved for 1.0.4."

    From the patch notes:
    "The spellcasting animations for the following skills have been modified to allow the effect to occur quicker and for the player to move sooner after casting: Acid Cloud, Corpse Spiders, Firebomb, Locust Swarm, Poison Dart, and Zombie Charger"

    Plague of Toads didn't make the cut.

    Its 9:41 CST and ive yet to log into the game. I was going to have one last VQ Bear spam hurrah before 1.04 but the MF cap has taken all the wind out of my sails. No matter if i wont be affected for 20 ish levels or whatever, its killing any long term hopes i had. Its going to take quite a bit to distract me from that fact and with only an arena style PvP coming i really cant see myself having a long love affair with this game, akin to D2. So bummed still...
