rofl what a blog post...the fact it took them this long to basically write an excuse and not a blog is a joke. They basically just spit in the faces of all the people who paid for the game.
"Well our idea we've been working on all this time didn't do very well , so we're scrapping it and just enabling 1v1 duels..thanks guys!"
Uh, excuse me, you're wrong.
I never intended to PVP in Diablo 3.
For all I care, they can scrap the entire idea and it wouldn't phase me in the least.

Thank you so much for all this input! I greatly appreciate it

My spec is the Build that is currently on the main page.

Also, I would like to stay away from the standard WW/Sprint build, I used that spec for so long it's incredibly boring to me. So I'd like to not use it.

What should I upgrade next?
I was thinking of getting another piece of the Immortal Kings set to get the +60 all resist since a lot of my resist is under 500.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks!
EDIT: I bought the Imortal Kings belt, I now have about 530 resist to everything.

It's not though, you can't actually put the item on this app. The item doesn't leave the seller inventory whenever the buyer wins. Literally nothing happens in game at all. This does not take place on the Diablo/Battle.net servers. This in no way has any direct effect/control on Blizzards end.

In this app, someone puts up an item and people bid on it. The seller is informed of the person who won the trade, then must contact them IN GAME and say "Hey, I see you won the auction in the app.", to which the player respond "Yeah I did, invite me to a game and we'll trade"
The seller invites the buyer to a game (or vice versa) and the buyer trades the seller the gold, while the seller trades the buyer the item.
This is literally NOTHING different then forums that allow two users to meet to trade an item IN GAME.
In no way is this illegal. The same exact thing can be done in game via chat.

I seem to be having a rather difficult time finding it.
Thanks!

What if Blizzard is just watching how people react to no auction house for an extended period of time because they're thinking of removing it.
They stated that they're not happy with how the Auction House has turned out, and if it was possible, they'd like to remove it. But it's so intigrated into the game that they wouldn't.
Do you think they're watching like "Hmmmm, lets see how people respond when they have to manually find gear instead of buying it off the AH."

I don't think it's RNG, my Monk is paragon level 15, and has been getting 4 to 5 rares from every special pack of rares/elites when I have 5 stacks of NV for MONTHS, like ever since they introduced the NV buff.
I'm not even exaggerating either, it has literally been 4 or 5 rares from every pack whenever I had 5 stacks, for months.
Also, I thought there was some kind of design rule they implemented where the yellow packs would always roll between 1 and 3 items...but always guaranteed at least two additional items. Or something along those lines.
If RNG is a factor, then I've been getting the better end of RNG for atleast...hell....4 months? 5 months? I can't remember when NV came out but I doubt I'm that lucky with RNG.

I ask this because I have 5 stacks of NV, but I'm only getting 1 yellow per pack. I even opened 3 resplendent chests and I've only gotten 1 yellow out of them at a time.
It use to be like 5 or 6 yellows at 5 stacks.... but I've been playing for 2 hours and not one pack has dropped more then 1 yellow.
Thanks.

No. Your nerd-rage has obviously blinded you.
They catered to the majority of it's playerbase.
End of story.

I just bought 4 of the DEX patterns off the AH for about 130,000 gold each. I don't have a ton of money, only 1.2 million, and I know 130,000 doesn't take a lot of time. Just play normally and sell all the items you pick up, considering each yellow items usually sells for 1,000 gold or more.
PS. US servers by the way.

Yes I know this is the PTR. But Blizzard won't be able to fix this.
I'll stick to PVE

I have the same problem, and this is what I've concluded about the situation...
1. The player-base has a World of Warcraft mentality. It's either the best gear possible, or no gear at all. Basically the gear your selling needs to have 100% awesome rolls with zero wasted stats or someone won't want it. I've gotten legendaries with amazing stats on them. But when I offer to sell it in trade chat, people laugh and tell me they won't pay that price for such a piece of crap weapon (I'm talking as low as 50k gold.) So I've come to the conclusion that if it's not considered "best in slot", then no one will want it.
2. You might find an item that has awesome stats on it, and try to sell it for 1 million gold.... But there is someone out there that will have pretty much the same exact stats, or even slightly better ones, that will sell it for 900k gold. Then someone comes along to undercut him with even better stats for 800k gold. That's the problem with having one unified auction house for an entire country. If anything, they should break the AH's up into 3 or 4 seperate AH's for each timezone or something.
Those are my conclusions.
