Interesting, I hadn't seen that build. The part I was missing before was that you were running a mighty weapon. Watching the videos, I wonder if the build wouldn't be better off with Sprint: Marathon since he appears to do almost zero tornado damage as he's neither kiting nor whirling / running back and forth.

Anyway, I get why you have such a high attack speed focus now. Unfortunately, as the thread you linked notes, that means this is a very expensive build. I'm not sure what sort of budget it's going to ultimately take, but here's what I'd be looking at slot by slot if it were me:

    [Edited for thread length]

Thank you so much for all this input! I greatly appreciate it

Your current build doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Are you able to maintain Thrive on Chaos without BR: Into the Fray? I think you'd be better off with either a different WotB rune or switching to BR: ItF. The latter option is what I'd recommend, though it would also require a bigger focus on crit, which is fine since crit chance / crit damage is the best way to increase DPS anyway. If you do a significant portion of your damage with RltW tornadoes, it may also be worth dropping either Overpower or Cleave for WW: Hurricane since it lets you move through enemies and drop RltW tornadoes directly on top of them.

Gear-wise, you've got a higher attack speed focus than I think I've ever seen on a Barb, but very low health, crit chance and crit damage. It's hard for me to give you much specific advice here because your build and current gear are so non-standard. For my general thoughts on gearing barbs, check this thread: http://www.diablofan...d-items-better/ Also, note that when I talk about WW in that thread, I'm referring to WW builds and primarily to RltW tornadoes, so much or most of it would apply to you if you do a large portion of your damage that way.

My spec is the Build that is currently on the main page.

    http://www.diablofan...-stuff-up-barb/

Also, I would like to stay away from the standard WW/Sprint build, I used that spec for so long it's incredibly boring to me. So I'd like to not use it.

I currently have 533 Million to spend on gear.

    http://us.battle.net...1/hero/19577629

    What should I upgrade next?

I was thinking of getting another piece of the Immortal Kings set to get the +60 all resist since a lot of my resist is under 500.

    Any thoughts? Suggestions?

    Thanks!

EDIT: I bought the Imortal Kings belt, I now have about 530 resist to everything.

This is literally nothing more then player to player IN GAME trades.

In this app, someone puts up an item and people bid on it. The seller is informed of the person who won the trade, then must contact them IN GAME and say "Hey, I see you won the auction in the app.", to which the player respond "Yeah I did, invite me to a game and we'll trade"

That sounds like a bit more than "player to player trades" to me. It sounds like an auction house on a 3rd party site which very well may be against the ToS.

It's not though, you can't actually put the item on this app. The item doesn't leave the seller inventory whenever the buyer wins. Literally nothing happens in game at all. This does not take place on the Diablo/Battle.net servers. This in no way has any direct effect/control on Blizzards end.

The seller invites the buyer to a game (or vice versa) and the buyer trades the seller the gold, while the seller trades the buyer the item.

This is literally NOTHING different then forums that allow two users to meet to trade an item IN GAME.

In no way is this illegal. The same exact thing can be done in game via chat.

Would anyone happen to have the Bell Spec that everyone is talking about?

I seem to be having a rather difficult time finding it.

    Thanks!

I know this is a crazy idea..

What if Blizzard is just watching how people react to no auction house for an extended period of time because they're thinking of removing it.

They stated that they're not happy with how the Auction House has turned out, and if it was possible, they'd like to remove it. But it's so intigrated into the game that they wouldn't.

Do you think they're watching like "Hmmmm, lets see how people respond when they have to manually find gear instead of buying it off the AH."

The Itemization patch is still pretty far away. What you're seeing is RNG and perhaps lack of MF. I recently started playing my Barbarian again and while he was still 1-5 Paragon and 1-2 MP he saw almost exclusively 1 Rare per pack/chest. Things have changed dramatically as he approached level 20 on MP5. Now it's almost always 3-4 rares.

I don't think it's RNG, my Monk is paragon level 15, and has been getting 4 to 5 rares from every special pack of rares/elites when I have 5 stacks of NV for MONTHS, like ever since they introduced the NV buff.

I'm not even exaggerating either, it has literally been 4 or 5 rares from every pack whenever I had 5 stacks, for months.

Also, I thought there was some kind of design rule they implemented where the yellow packs would always roll between 1 and 3 items...but always guaranteed at least two additional items. Or something along those lines.

If RNG is a factor, then I've been getting the better end of RNG for atleast...hell....4 months? 5 months? I can't remember when NV came out but I doubt I'm that lucky with RNG.

So, did they implement the patch that gives you less loot but of higher quality yet?

I ask this because I have 5 stacks of NV, but I'm only getting 1 yellow per pack. I even opened 3 resplendent chests and I've only gotten 1 yellow out of them at a time.

It use to be like 5 or 6 yellows at 5 stacks.... but I've been playing for 2 hours and not one pack has dropped more then 1 yellow.

    Thanks.

Idk I think we have to just accept the truth. The game when it was launched was shit. They catered to the extreme minority who just wanted to run back from the GY, and it made for a shit game. Almost everyone hit inferno and just stopped...It was gay as hell.

If the game launched with patch 1.07, then I am sure it would be doing amazing right now. Too bad it didn't....

I mean hell there is more going on about diablo on this site 6 months before it launched then there is now...

No. Your nerd-rage has obviously blinded you.

They catered to the majority of it's playerbase.

    End of story.

I know that it ultimatly comes down to preference if you want to farm the patterns yourself or buy them, but what I can understand is the people who are complaining about having to farm them.

I just bought 4 of the DEX patterns off the AH for about 130,000 gold each. I don't have a ton of money, only 1.2 million, and I know 130,000 doesn't take a lot of time. Just play normally and sell all the items you pick up, considering each yellow items usually sells for 1,000 gold or more.

PS. US servers by the way.

After watching this for about 15 minutes I've come to the conclusion that PVP is going to be horribly broken in this game and it's not going to get fixed.

Yes I know this is the PTR. But Blizzard won't be able to fix this.

    I'll stick to PVE :)

rofl what a blog post...the fact it took them this long to basically write an excuse and not a blog is a joke. They basically just spit in the faces of all the people who paid for the game.

"Well our idea we've been working on all this time didn't do very well , so we're scrapping it and just enabling 1v1 duels..thanks guys!"

    Uh, excuse me, you're wrong.

I never intended to PVP in Diablo 3.

For all I care, they can scrap the entire idea and it wouldn't phase me in the least.

posted a message on AH Selling rate is low, Help?
    Quote from Kodaijin

Hey ya everyone! I've been running into a problem as of late. I have 5 toons full of stuff to sell and two bank tabs but I can only seem to sell maybe one item a day, and it's making me wonder if I am pricing things wrong.

What I do is check all my rares and see if they will sell for at minimum 100k and trash the rest (vendor), the items I do want to sell I will do the right click search and see what I could get for similar items and I sort by the buy out price lowest and set a buy out for half that price and then half that for the bid.

Example: I have an item that looks like it could sell for around 200k, I list it for 100k BO and 50k bid.

90% of items time out and never get sold.

So I'm wondering if it's the wrong items I'm trying to unload or this pricing system I'm using is not working and the items I'm trying to sell are actually work even less than what I see on the market.

    Any help is appreciated.

I have the same problem, and this is what I've concluded about the situation...

    1. The player-base has a World of Warcraft mentality. It's either the best gear possible, or no gear at all. Basically the gear your selling needs to have 100% awesome rolls with zero wasted stats or someone won't want it. I've gotten legendaries with amazing stats on them. But when I offer to sell it in trade chat, people laugh and tell me they won't pay that price for such a piece of crap weapon (I'm talking as low as 50k gold.) So I've come to the conclusion that if it's not considered "best in slot", then no one will want it.

    2. You might find an item that has awesome stats on it, and try to sell it for 1 million gold.... But there is someone out there that will have pretty much the same exact stats, or even slightly better ones, that will sell it for 900k gold. Then someone comes along to undercut him with even better stats for 800k gold. That's the problem with having one unified auction house for an entire country. If anything, they should break the AH's up into 3 or 4 seperate AH's for each timezone or something.

    Those are my conclusions.
