I feel like I am the "friend" in that post.

Maybe that's why two of them are not playing anymore lol.

Anyway... Why should I care if I find the game fun and still playing to this day ?

A quick question, because I couldn't find any answer on the official forum.

How does Unity work with a undying follower ? Or does it work at all ?

Even if the numbers were adjusted to increase drop chances it STILL feels worse to me on an emotional level. ( not very scientific, huh?)

But when you have 500 shards and stuff costs 100 shards, you really don't get many shots at something you actually want. And I walk away feeling somewhat depressed. I guess if it was 20 shards, and the rate was the same, at least I feel like I had more chances for that roll to go my way. Again, not a numbers thing proven out on paper, just my emotional gut reaction.

Am I the only one feeling this way?
Having to work more for better rewards and not having much more rewards, even if the rewards are crap, I would say on the emotion side. I guess i could say i'm feeling sad about it. But I know it's not how it work and like you said, on paper the numbers are telling me that I will get more legendary out of it.

And calling playing Diablo 3 a "work" is kinda stupid IMO.

Just a quick heads up. A recent bluepost had suggested that they were "watching" on how people "feel" about Kadala's reward rate after the hotfix to crafting materials.

A political response if you ask me and nothing was mentioned on ether both side of the question but they know how we feel about it. For the bether or worse.

I had something like that a while ago. It was a straight up line though, but the same caldeum sewage tile.

Unfortunatly I don't have the screenshot anymore. It was probably at the biginning of the game.

posted a message on New here - Few questions
    1. Not anymore (Thank god !)
    2. Public chat, general chat in-game. or Diablofans =)
    3. You can add some friend or join community chat like "rift it foward" or "looking for group".
    4. There is not anykind of open world pvp. For pvp you have to talk to a NPC "brawler" to go to a different arena in-game. People have to go in there for pvp and can leave at any moment.
    5. Yes. Depend on how much you play, how you play and if you play solo or in a group. (ex: playing in a 4 man group at torment 6 it could take less than an hour.)
    6. If you have Reaper of Souls and you kill Malthael on story mode you will unlock Adventure mode with bounties and Rift. Or if you think like me and being the best in every class with 100% achievements and the best gear there is... (I've been playing since the biginning and i'm not there yet)
    7. Some would say the Monks are the best others would say Crusaders or Wizards. At the end it's all come down to a matter of opinion and the way you feel it. (IMO)
    8. In my opinion if you can spend 60$ for the full game and play at least 60 hours of it ($/H) The game is worth buying. I have more than 400 hours in it and I still find the game good and I enjoyed it even after 2 years.

Hope it help you decide. You can count me in for that. But this is my honest opinion and it doesn't reflect the opinion of others. I would suggest you wait for more opinion.

PS. To Diablofans : The "quote" button is somekind of messed up for me.
EDIT #2 : Don't pay any attention to Troll and you'll live a happier life...

Do the people who come to this site not read anything on the main page? You have a GREATER leg chance and the RG makes up for the mats. How is anyone complaining?....I AM SPECIAL SO I DESERVE LEGS....stupid entitled generation.
I'm guessing every people playing diablo should always agree no mather what happen to the game good or bad. It's all come down to an opinion or a point of vue. I don't know about others opinions, that's why I put that question inside my post to know what people think about the change they have made in the recent patch. The main forum was so full of Trolls and people dictating what everybody should think that I thought maybe here people are more civilized and were able to talk about it without that kind of reply.

I guest I was wrong... well so long Diablo "fans".

Oh and I almost forgot. In the bigger picture I think this decision is a GREAT one on Blizzard behalf. People will have to play more to get what they want (maybe not that much but anyway) So more people playing Diablo mean more people at Blizzard office for making more stuff for Diablo and other games.

I've been playing all night to test more and I just woke up a few minutes ago.

So my thought are so far...

      1. You have to do more rift to get the same amount of shard for items (no matter what the quality) as it use to be.
      2. By doing more rift you have more chances (RNG knocking on my door) to get more legendary.
      3. Getting around 75 blood shards / rift (doing T4 rift) so that every 7 rifts to spend it all on Kadala.
      4. Depending on what you spend your shards (waist for that exemple) getting around 2 legendaries per 6-7 rifts (RNG yelling at me now).
      5. It need more testing but in the big scheme of things it's all the same as it was before the patch.
I don't remember who has posted a thread about legendary per shard spend on kadala but that thread should be updated to see the difference.

P.S. I had read all the patch note carefully and tested a bit before posting this Poll. The cost was my biggest concern at first but now it's more or less the same as it was before the patch I think. I was testing the pulse of everyone on this but I'd love to see more constuctive opinion and testing result about how the change affected you. (without the obvious goat that RNG is)

farm shards with your main ,spend on alt problem solved !
most people have already left to archage and destiny and other games.
ArcheAge = P2W really really bad model if you ask me.
Destiny = A grinding game and people are complaining about an "exploit" that somewhere in the game there is a lot of mobs to kill to get loot. Every act in Diablo 3 got that kind of place where mob density is better than some other place in the game and where some mobs can spawn continusly.

I'll stick to Diablo even if I don't like that new feature. Thank You.

      • Kadala
        • Philosophy

While Kadala is doing a great job of giving players more control over finding specific items, we felt the current experience was a bit cumbersome and inconvenient

          • As a result, we're working to reduce the frequency at which players need to run between Kadala and the Blacksmith to salvage unwanted items

        • The cost to purchase items from Kadala has been greatly increased
        • The chance for Kadala to drop a Legendary item has also been greatly increased

Personnaly, I'm not okay with it. I don't find it usefull in the way they described it. The way I see it if a casual player come in to play Diablo 3 and found out. "Oh I need to do X number of rift at Y difficulty level to get Z number of blood shard and my time today is E:EE, What are my chances of getting what I need ?" Question about RNG some will say but did the change made to that "Greatly increased" drop of legendary worth the time that I put inside the game ?

I have spend my 489 shards on my non-season toon to test it out this afternoon only to get rewarded by some blues and a handfull of yellows. RNG again but without the materials I was use to get from a bad luck gambling. I'm not complaining about RNG but about the cost being to high in my humble opinion.

What is your experience with this change so far and do you think it's a good or a bad thing for Kadala raising her price ?

All right thanks for the reply !

I will see if I can scrap a piece or two for that set bonus and replace it with the depth digger and I will also try the AS gem.

keep in mind though, there is a Cooldown on the dashign strike damage proc, I believe it is 6seconds.
Didn't know that... That is something to keep in mind when doing GR !

posted a message on Raiment of a thousand storms worth the 6th set bonus ?
    Here's my dilemma.

I currently have 5 pieces of the Raiment of a thousand storms for the Monk. With an 85% damage to lightning and a RoRG equip. I want to know if the 6th bonus of this set is worth it against a Depth digger with 87% damage bonus to primary skill.

I currently use a lot of dashing strike in my GR and love to see the 60m+ damage popping up sometime. But maybe a depth digger bonus would benefith me more since I already have a Simplicity's Strengh at rank 25. with a 37,5% bonus to primary skill damage.

Thank you for your help !

Thanks man for your reply, yes as I have said before this post is not what I posted on the blizzard forums, when I came here and posted this I was pretty pissed at blizzard for completely discouraging my post and banning my account. I was not hostile toward them I left many openings for debate and was overall friendly with them, but after they banned me it pretty much pissed me off.

But overall yes you are correct :) even though you disagree with me on certain areas you are not a jerk about it, so I appreciate your post.
You should have post the original lol.

Do like me and keep all the data I send on different forums in case something got "deleted"
