Necor you should update your first post with any following Facts/Rumors because it's easier to read the first post rather than reading like 4 pages of facts, rumors, and corrections.
well lets see. personally, i wouldent even mind a new d2 with updated graphics right now. but if they could add in all the choices and sort of make it like fable that would be sweet. but your alignment should have to do with the quests your offerd and the look of your char. it could even go as far as make like evil/good a requirement for skills. for instance, kill 10 angels to recive skill deathangel strike or something and now you can put skill points into that and make it stronger.
that sounds so un-diablo to me. btw if its not an MMORPG aka Warcraft, then you shouldnt be able to kill angels because yer a hero, and thatsyour role in the story

Well nobody knows except for the Blizzard Staff most likely. I have a lot of faith it is Diablo 3 as well, just because it just seems so... smart I guess you could say. Come on, a new Warcraft based game, a new Starcraft based game. All they got left is the Diablo Universe and, frankly, it's most likely.

if blizzard kept diablo 3 at the same angle, your eyes and face really wouldnt make a difference. but hair and stuff would be nice, i guess. One part i like about every necro or other class looking the same is you could indentify the person just by the way they looked.

I tried playing Diablo I on multiplayer, but I could never ctually get "connected". So ya...that sucked. Anyway, playing all alone night and day (very addicting :shock: ) I got my warrior up to lvl 67 or 68, I could never get to the very end!!! I always got stuck in the lava area, and I knew I was close to big d. Anyone care to let me in on the details as to what happened after you kill him? :?

i gave it a 9, because I, unlike others, didnt like the duping glitch. But i got it a couple of months after it came out and played it everday, and i was like 4 years old.
And i loved the look of those Laucharan or however you spell it Knights.
Diablo 2 isnt exactly 2d, the building and everything are 3d modeled, and then are previewed in only one direction. the characters and monsters for sure are 3d models
EDIT: heres a pic of a minion of destruction, they are quite nicely 3d modeled monsters.
