I have. Rares dropping from barrels. But a legendary is nice. I believe the chance is there and we were just lucky on the RNGs. =]

I think the aircraft carrier is probably a bad idea due to time to get supplies (food, etc.) once you run out/get low. Where would you port? You'd be going somewhere you're not familiar with (as far as zombie population).

Personally I'd probably wind up a zombie since I'm not too strong and don't own any weapons beyond some steak knives. Lol. :P

This cracked me up in the office. ;P Why did the last 2 posters want to be zombies? I started considering it myself actually since it would be an interesting existence. What if there were a few zombies of the Albert Wesker variety? I know he's not a zomber per se but that would change the status quo a lot.

Aircraft carrier does sound good actually. You'd need some help manning it though. Care to take me onboard? I have military training. =)

    I rate it an A.

All the skills synergise very well in my opinion in terms of cooldowns and function and the purpose and playstyle required is very obvious. I am only slightly concerned about the lack of mobility with the skills you have chosen. I understand that mobility is not an aspect this build needs but it's probably out of my need to be able to kite more effectively. Still, it does look good as far as I can tell. What do ya think of mine? :P

I wondered about the mobility issue too. Think I should replace Earthquake with something like Leap Attack?

But that damage is a lot to lose, even if it's only every 2 minutes or so...

And I haven't studied the DH class much, so don't think I could give that build a grade. But it looks like a nice balance of group-slow and damage, which would be nice in Inferno group play. I'm guessing the DH role in Inferno will be to stay back and pump out damage and slows, and you built in a nice escape with Smoke Screen.

Thanks for commenting on my "build" (in inverted commas to appease certain people). It probably will change a lot once I start exploring Sanctuary and getting to know the skills better. I guess in a sense you could manoeuver around and use Ground Stomp if caught in a bad position. I think keeping Earthquake is good though as the slow sounds awesome. I wonder if it lasts 8 seconds as well or if the value is different when runed?

posted a message on DiabloFans Calculator Build Contest (ONE POST ONLY)

This build is meant for staying at a distance from targets with a heavy emphasis on slowing them down. An encounter would require Entangling Shot (Chain Gang) to slow multiple targets with Rapid Fire (Web Shot) to deal damage. Cull the Weak allows extra damage on slowed targets with the other passives for providing additional damage to synergise with Rapid Fire.

If forced into close combat, Preparation (Punishment) is a fallback to gain additional Hatred for Fan of Knives and Evasive Fire as an escape mechanism to keep targets at range. Slowing with Entangling Shot regenerates Hatred and allows the process to repeat.

Hmm.. I actually like the Diablo music. I don't think I listened to much else as it added to the environment and overall "feel". After all, I don't have the time to play for very long stretches anyways (Read: Work). If I do listen to something else though, it would be something :softer" and without lyrics.

posted a message on Sharp Shooter build
Hi guys! I thought it very interesting how through the discussion that original build posted looked more and more efficient and destructive. I actually looked through the builds before reading the text so that I could draw my own conclusions first and then proceeded to follow the discussion. The final product looks a lot better with Rain of Vengeance taken out. I doubt it would serve its purposes in PvP at all (unless in some very unique builds/circumstances) with the cooldown being what it is.

In any case, I'll post a build I have in mind for my Demon Hunter as well and let it go through the forge of astute minds here to refine and hone it. Without going into it overmuch, the main idea behind it is to mix PvP (though I am not a very big fan of it and will chiefly be fighting friends for laughs) with heavier emphasis on EvP, Utility mixed in with single target damage with crowd control is the main aim and a balance I hope to strike. So... Here it is. Critique away, my friends! =P
