it worked once, the hard part was giving the cat a bath to get the oil offQuote from Holycrepe
telling diablofans to fix an issue, is like telling your cat to go change the oil in your car.

Come on, gang. They do their best. The problem is they had more show up to the party than RSVP'd. Happens all the time. You simply have to know the company and be a true-blue long time fan that's done this dance once or eight times.
What you do on most every Blizzard release day - just add a day to the date, take that one off. You'll have plenty of time to slap demons around for the next 10 years. I went to bed on-time and will get home from work on-time. Tomorrow I expect servers to be stable and up as I have my day off to play all day and evening.
I don't think it's acceptable that we cut them the slack, as you've put it, they've released MANY games in the past, and this happens every single time. Am I the only person here who sees a problem with that? Especially after all of the "Stress Testing" they have done, this should have gone a HELL of a lot smoother than it is. To me this screams upper managment saying "what's the LEAST amount of resources needed for launch day" rather than "what's the HIGHEST number of people we are expecting launch day" -

I'm kind of amused that anyone would expect blizzard to meet ANY of their initial deadlines. Im callin it now, 5pm pdt before this "issue" is fixed -

So there was a tweet saying that there was interesting stuff coming up for the WD.. Did I miss something in the patch notes, or are there no WD changes?
they meant coming up next month in beta patch 15, or early may in patch 16 -

Maybe if you people would hire a few more people onto your dev team, the game would be finished, up to standards, AND the community wouldn't be in the middle of a mutiny....
Plus, it'd help the economy..... just sayin..... - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

this is blizzards idea of "fixing" the end game, 100 levels of grinding, at a slower rate than 59-60?
pure bs, color me dissapointed

in my around 1k hours in d2 (and that's being modest most likely) i found 2 soj's, a handfull of zod runes, easily a dozen ik soul cages, tal rasha's ammy's, tyraels mights etc. The good stuff DOES drop, and it seems much more often than in d3, if only for the reason that a MUCH larger percentage of the items you find are useable. I think my biggest problem with the auction house is the lack of personal interaction that comes with it. D2's community was talkative, vibrant, and always looking to trade, even when you didn't have the top 1% of the most desired stats rolled on your gear. This social aspect is SORELY missing from diablo 3, and the chat channels are a poor attempt to make up for it. Sadly, since everyone can just list their best finds annonomously on the auction house, the trade channel is usually reserved for scammers and flame wars, or just outright riddled with trolls. Either way, id love to see some more "social" aspects to this game to hopefully breathe some new life into it.

agreed, i was really hoping for some new INTERESTING updates, not just more number changes. I like the changes i guess, but i kinda was just yawning my way through it, nothing really stuck out...
on a side note, legendaries are starting to look better!

I want more than anything to love this game, obsess over it, and waste all my free time in it, but every time i boot up that login screen now, i feel like blizzard just spit on my face and said "this wasn't about making a sequel to your favorite childhood game, this wasn't about making the greatest arpg of all time, this was about lining our pockets with gold and securing activision/blizzard's place as the king of the propaganda machine and the leading spin doctor in the game industry."
my two cents before i dissapear like the rest of the playerbase.
