One thing I always despised was remaking the same type of character over and over again just trying to get it right. With no real permanent decisions in the character process, I can just stick with one of each, instead of 4 different types of necros like in d2. And, many times I was discouraged from trying a build just because to get it to were it was fun was days of leveling, and weeks of gearing. Now, as my own tastes, patches, and theory craft shift into new types of builds, I'll be able to shift my preexisting characters as I want, only having to get some new runes and maybe different gear. Sound boarding this in the forum has really put my concerns at ease I must say.
1 Skill Rune for each of the 6 AS (High level SR will surely have level requirements)

On a side note, gear no longer has attribute requirements, just level requirements.
You know, I not sure what the exact break down is, but it seems that we might still have a character decision to make every level, at least until 30. I was thinking about it, read your blue quotes in your sig, and I made myself feel better over this. I just like making decisions is all.

-Use higher-level skill
And how's that make you feel stronger/better each level, when according to Blizzard leveling up in D3 will mean much more than just spending attribute points! I dont get it...
I'm not really getting it either. Don't get me wrong, however the game is designed is neutral to me, I have never played it, and any system can work if done well. But it seems that level-up only increases static attributes, occasionally giving access to new skills at set levels, and raises your level by one. Losing skill points seems fine, and scaling spells is a great way to keep them all possibly useful even through hell (inferno even). But removing decision making from leveling all together... that's quite a bold move indeed.
