Aug 26, 2010EndersGameD3 posted a message on New Gem Madness Perks CuriosityI like the fact that the gem is almost nearly impossible to get. It adds value to end game content and it something other than farming for the baddest weapon/equip item in the game.Posted in: News

Aug 24, 2010EndersGameD3 posted a message on New Gem Madness Perks CuriosityNo one is going to be making 19,000+ gems to get a LvL 14 gem because we all are going to TRADE. It's going to be a lot easier to attain in the game because everybody will have gems and trade them away. However I'm guessing a LvL 14 Gem will be worth as much or maybe more than an end game rare item.Posted in: News

Yes, I realize that, but we were talking about
Lol reading the quote just makes you laugh.
Anyways like you said, sharing(means having more than one player in the game) will increase your chance of your "problabilty"(lol) because you will get gear faster by killing stuff faster.
It is a simple concept.

Or anybody else until you can learn to write correctly.
P.S. - If your going to use my quote against me, at least spell "essay" right. It's not helping your argument.

You should clearly read mine too.
Unlike you, I don't have to write a 3 page essay to make sense for something so logical.

Your not taking consideration in what you can GAIN for sharing.

That is game theory, its Nash Equilibrium.
Now D3 is a zero sum game? isn't that solved with Nash Equilibrium.
I dunno, using logic, if there are 4 players in the game and you are all sharing. Your chances should increase. If your playing with a friend, you should assume he/she will get you back as soon as they find something for you. If your playing with a random player, you could always trade something of worth(scraps, gems, gold)in game for that item.
Again logic, game pace is faster with four player, more items will drop, and your chances to gear will increase.

Better than somebody stealing a drop meant for you and then leaving the game. If anything, just communicate with your fellow player through chat. Blizzard said there will be an inspect feature so you should know if the item is an upgrade for that player.

Looking at the Barb tier 7 skills for example, these skill look like they should be placed on a cooldown or at least take up 80% of the characters resources. If I had to choose, I rather pick a cooldown so I can use my resources for my other skills. In sum, a more engaging fight with a larger variety of skills used in a battle.
Tentative Tier 7 Barb Skill:
Call of the Ancients—The only summoning skill of the Barbarian, this one allows him to summon the Ancients from Diablo II, who will briefly assist in battle.
* Description: Summons three ancient Barbarians; Talic, Korlic and Madawc, who inflict X% weapon damage. Lasts X seconds.
Earthquake—This stomp causes massive damage to all nearby enemies.
* Description: Shakes the earth violently, causing massive damage to all nearby enemies.
Wrath of the Berserker—This shout grants higher stats and enables the Barbarian to partially break monster immunities.
* Description: Enter a heightened sense of fury, raising several stats (Critical Hit, Attack Speed, Dodge Chance, Movement Speed) for X seconds. Monsters with damage immunities will take X% less damage from the Barbarian’s attacks rather than being immune.

Disintegrate everything. Use teleport and wave of force against close combat targets. Diamond skin when stuck in a binding. If the enemy focus target one wizard at a time, the targeted wizard will slow time and the other 2 will disintegrate/meteor the living crap out of the enemy.

Official Blizzard Quote:
"Amount of skills in Diablo III, with all player runestone variants included, is currently topping 700."
700 skills, thats a butt load! Considering theres about like 10 active skills for each class(random guess), thats a lot of skill variation from the runestones. Discuss.

Its just an assumption because the portrait beside the gear could be a placeholder for another element or become a interactive script(mousing over the talisman of the portrait will highlight it, and then clicking on it will take you to the talisman page). They made the effort to make a portrait for each inventory and skill tree. However in the talisman page, the slots could be the same/different for all classes.

I'm aware of what class I'm playing, I have no idea why I would need a picture of that beside the gear I'm wearing. It seems out of place and just placed there for a filler.
Bashiok: There's something that goes there. Another UI element that was purposefully hidden.
