Well, ok, your ideas, that's fine, but my argument I am trying to make, is that the lore calls these the prime evils, these are supposed to be the ultimate evils, the ones that end all humanity, well, I see no proof of this mass genocide. No mass graveyards, no inhumane treatment, no bodies, no nothing, so If there is none of this that we see, how is it so evil? What makes it evil, because Tyrael says it is? Who's to say that Tyrael isn't the evil one. So I want some proof that these are the great evils, not just something, someone brands "evil".
Yes entity, you know exactly what I am meaning, I don't really care about combat gore, as with a game like this it tends to be more distracting(for me) than anything else, but static gore, creates a really creepy atmosphere, when you see all bodies on pikes, torture victims, massacres etc, And I think this is why people think it looks so much like WoW, there is just no static gore, a couple of bones, pfft thats nothing, look towards Warhammer 40K and CoH if you want to see static gore done properly, it sets the atmosphere, and can make locations seem alot more threatning.
I have been checking the Diablo3.com website religously since it was bought by blizzard. And all the videos and screenshots I have seen have been beautiful however, and I am a supporter of Blizzards decision to not go all grey like some people suggested, I have faith in the Art team.
But where is the gore? Honestly, I watch all the videos, there is no gore, apart from bits of monsters and some skeleton bones. I take this coming From Act I of Diablo 2, in the Cathedral, there were tortured bodies strewn all around those tunnels, half attached to some wierd evil contraptions, and then the same in Act II in the Harem, slaughtered guards everywhere, and again with Act III in the jungles of Kurast, there are bits of people everywhere, where is it in Diablo 3?.
Just my 2 cents. And please don't make it pay 2 play.
