It's rather complicated, for example, I have no clue what Motherboard goes with what graphic card and what processors it can handle.
I don't know about cooler placement, nor how to assemble those darn things.
That's why I choose norrod and not dell or anything. You can just select what hardware you want, and they will assemble. Providing all information about motherboards blabla.
You still need to figure out if it's compatible but it's cool.
Point is, not everybody can do it (including me) it's rather hard for us normal/softcore gamers.

I was in your shoes years ago until I self-taught myself through Google. It's rather simple if you ever have any desire to sit down and learn it.
Why do people still buy name-brand computers? Building your own PC is about easy as putting Lego's together. I think the hardest part is keeping all of the wires nice and organized!
Newegg.com is the greatest thing ever created(Except Diablo, of course)! Regardless, that's a nice system. I don't have any plans on bulding a new i7 system for at least another year.
When I say this, I mean, when you first open the box, what will you do. And when you start the game, how will you choose your character? Would you try to get 1 character and MAX him out, go through the whole game, and be one of the first people to get the high of a level? Then go start another character?
When I first open the box, I'm going to read the books DUH. I'm going to install it, and open B-net; no point in doing single player, unless you don't have access to internet. I'm going to make 1 of each class, and look through their skills, and then try to get 1 character through the whole game. I'll be a little nervous about placing my skill points though.
On a side note, lets see if I can name my wizard: "wizard". Those names are always the first to go.
I've been playing the Wizard/Mage types since the early 90's, so I assume I'll be picking a male Wizard! I'll play my Wizard until I get close to cap and/or collect decent end game gear. I'm sure I'll play all 5 classes sooner or later.
I agree, we must read the book while we install the game! I don't have any plans on playing single player, so I'll be using Battle.net. I'm going to play the game slowly and enjoy every bit of content possible! I'm in no rush! :cool:
I actually prefer the Tetris/Grid inventory system because I like to keep things organized. In the end, I don't really give a shit as long as I'm playing Diablo 3!

While I personally consider Diablo some type of an RPG, it doesn't hold a candle next to Baldur's Gate(Or any other RPG for that matter).
