i really like barbarians in LOD and either sorceress or pallys in vanilla d2.

The assassin could be really fun if they actually gave her skills to use her claws for. the only skill that incorporates their class specific item is the passive ability to block attacks while wearing two claw class weps.

The barbarian was given almost endless posibilities when runewords came out. i particularly enjoyed playing my chaos sanctuary barb and my golf finder
paliden was my first class and so theyll always have a special place.
sorcs were really fun when skills like nova and frost nova were as viable end game as orb/blizz/etc

I am wondering if people here think the merc classes would be suitable diablo 3 classes. So far we have the Barbarian who can be hired in act5. We have the wizard who is comparable to the act3 mercs. Next we have the witch doctor (not really a merc class, rather the unique monster from act3 who guards khalim's brain.

The act1 merc was ranged but not an amazon. These mercs were rogues and so i expect the ranged class to be named Rogues.

now were left with just the act 2 mercs to be incorperated. Ingame these guys were pole bearing, aura enchanted hirelings. I think these guys would make an excellent hybrid which seems to be the 5th class people want. I think the act2 mercs could manifest in D3 as a three teired attacker. First they use their poles to keep enemies at a distance, once their pole is overcome they can draw a sword with which they desplay their short range skills. If the sword proves inferior they can escape or retreat to a safer position and start over.

I know a lot of people dont play through the game once they beat it the first time. Even more people probably never even played through the game, rushed by friends.

Anyways I was playing through on my new javazon in single player and noticed something.

Witch Doctor is the name of the guy guarding khalim's brain i believe. hes the unique fetish monster protecting the chest with his fetish buddies.

Maybe the next two characters will come from unique monsters?
Also Asheara in act 3 says shes part of a mercinary band of mages (i assume the ones you can hire from her) maybe we will see some of the mercinary classes made into real classes? that would be cool. Obviously they have a lot of skills to think up and i doubt they would include the skills they use in D2lod (pally auras, fire/ice arrows etc.)

Also, to the people hoping for a zakurum knight of some kind. They are all dead and you probably had a hand in it. The last ones left were corrupted and protected the compelling orb. in the game you kill the high council of corrupt zakurum soo... i dont think they will be a class.

im opposed to infinite lvls. what the cap should be, I dont know. 99 was ok except its such an ugly number. Ladder will have its perks like always. hopefully its not item perks because the "dump in" of ladder only items rapidly destroys non ladder markets

i must have forgotten about that. no biggie to me. I was thinking it might be nice if they made an interactive page.

they could take a SS of a character with their skill tree open as well as 1 of the inventories and have it respond to our mouse movement. like if we scroll over an item on the screen it behaves like it would in game.

obviously we wouldn't be able to pick things up or change from small item inventory to big inventory but who knows, they're pretty clever at blizzard, just an idea.

i am really interested to see the stash UI as well as quest UI and merc UI

i realize most is still subject to change or yet to be created but im really looking forward to these updates!

I think we'll be introduced to a new universe when they finally announce it in five years.

but the games menu on blizzard isnt displaying diablo 3 under development
