Blizzard brought ActiVision because they had enough money to do that,I assume they brought it so they could speed up the prduction of D3 and Starcraft 2!

I doubt Blizzard will do Console games until they finish the current projects they have going on right now. :thumbsup:

I like the idea of this twist because Cain is in the perfect position to betray everyone,on the other hand Deckard Cain has always really helped everyone though the tough Times and I would really hate to see him turn evil so quickly.

Just so you know Legandary Pictures has already spilled some juice saying that they are already working on a World of Warcraft movie AND a Diablo Movie and it's going to be live action nobody can figure out out if these are reliable sources or if their a big hoax!

:offtopic:Honestly I don't see blizzard starting a movie untill they finish up all their franchises and drawing all the storylines to a close then making a movie to explain all the stuff afterwards.

I never really thought of it like that here are a few facts that might support this idea.

1.Decard Cain was always being captured in locked up in Tristam but the monsters never really attacked him.
2.The Heroes would always show up just in time to save cain which might be true or just a coincidence.
3.Cain is living longer than any of the other character's meaning he may be the host for some big immortal demon (same thing Diablo,Lord of Terror does to get back into the mortal world).
4.Decard Cain is the last of the Horadrim which is a bit fishy because he never really fought and all the other Horadrim ended up dieing by continously fighting the prime evils,Does this mean that cain ordered the three bothers to let him live?

There are also these facts that utterly break this idea.

1.Maruis the guy that traveled with Diablo (The Dark wanderer) in D2 was ordered to destory the soulstones by Tyreal and some of the Horadrim (None of which where Cain) and Cain was never involved in any of that plot.
2.If Cain was the cuase of all these problems why would Mephisto,Diablo,and Baal's minons still be targeting him as a threat unless they are just following Cains order's to make the plot seem good.
3.Decard Cain did in fact suggest the idea of destorying the Worldstone to Tyreal but Tyreal himself made the decision to destory it not Cain

So...we know this for sure now:


1)Tyrael is a MAIN part of the story
2)The brothers are gone and should be forgotten about
3)The remaining two Evils (Belial and Azmodan) WILL be a focus

The name of the Game would not be "Diablo 3" without Diablo,Lord of Terror as a boss otherwise It would just be lame!

I totally disargee as usual Tyreal will never be corrupted because he is PURE good. I believe this is the order of the acts in D3

Act 1-Start your character at it's hometown for example

Barbarian:Arret Crater/Harrogath
Witch Doctor-Tanzila Jungle?

Fight your way up to Andruil or a boss of some sort and deal with some stuff in Tristam

Act-Lut Gorlain and the other desserts open up once again and Durieal and some of the lesser evils rise from the 7 tombs vally again and you find out more about the horadrim and the sacrifice of Tal Rasha.

Act 3-ALL the jungle levels unlock and mephisto is reborn but does not have enough strength this time to reopen hell so all he does is reawaken diablo,you may need to fight a series of bosses in this act

Act 4-The Burning Hells except this time they are more twisted and evil becuase Diablo has more power and maybe this time there is no pandamonum fortress becuase of D3's "And the Heaven's shall tremble"

Act 5-Arret Crater and the rebuilding/final defeat of the prime evils and the death of Decard Cain the last of the Horadrim

Act 6 (bonus ACT)-May include things such as THE COW LEVEL 2 and quests that involve the final cleansing of Earth (the place Daiblo 3 would take place) so you have to finish off little hordes of monsters and such.

I hope Diablo uses the metor that came down as a way back into the mortal world becuase I see no other way that he could've came back,I really hope thy add alot of lore to explain how the prime evils came back again becuase in D2 they explained something about "The Balck Abyss" that meant they could never return but maybe in D3 there will be a way.

Yes I have to argree we WILL see the 3 prime evils in this game and most likely a whole load of new lesser evils,Mephisto may be a bit weaker because he keeps getting older and Baal most likely will come out of worldstone crater somehow,Diablo himself seemed to be in the Cinematic trailer right befor the girl said "I don't think it's safe here" and then the D3 logo came up,he sort of screamed or yelled or something. Tyreal too was foound in the citematic trailer throwing his sword at the worldstone just like in D2 "Destruction's end".
