So when someone makes a great opinion do you always make sarcastic ass-hat remarks?

I feel that the people that are making these threads crap are not the people that WANT a change but the people that want it to stay. Every time I post or read others its always the same, The people that want it to stay like WoW, barney, hello kitty island adventure, always start the same stuff lol. Learn to take it like a man or dont post ass-hat remarks.

You see, that's the thing right there the game DOES NOT:

    Look like WoW
    Look like Barney
Look like Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Get your head out of your ass buddy and smell those delicious colors - that wasn't a "great" opinion, it was a shit bashing off MY game. What exactly am I learning to take? I think you're the one that needs to learn how to read, let me spell it out for you
"Diablo 3 Art Direction No Going Back"

    KAI Thanks.

How is that an over-exaggeration if you go into this "dark part of the game" that they say is in diablo 3 (which i still dont believe). And then theres a party of 8 people with giant weapon glows swinging away at monsters with light tracers everywhere

There won't be "light tracers everywhere", it's that simple hence why IT'S AN OVER-EXAGGERATION.

Now like flash bangs? yeah maybe not THAT bright, Neon lines and bright neon explosions everywhere? Pretty much. That would make it more hard to see "monsters" in my opinion, from what the article says that is "we wanted to make it easier to see what your looking at". How does this guy have the balls to even say that with how bright those weapon glows are lol? Cant even see the weapons...

Good thing they don't care for your opinion, or we'd REALLY need those "high pitched glows" to see anything. Actually, let's just get rid of magic all together because light shouldn't exist in the realm of Diablo.

When I played act-1 I felt dark, dense forest for some reason. Even though there was almost like no trees around. Thats the feel i got. act-2 was a desert. It did not feel colorful, it felt like a desert, the way one should. Without barney colors and rainbow fairies. Color is good. But when you go overboard from fantasy into the land of Hello Kitty island adventure, barney, and the colorful game that WoW is, its kind of fucked up. This is supposed to be a M rated adult game, at least that's what I thought Diablo 3 would be.

Good, so I guess I won't be seeing you on battle.net? Excellent.

    A better idea would be:

Make it so that when you socket a sword or shield with a rune or gemstone you can actually SEE them on the sword/shield instead of having a giant glow affect. For me that would make it much cooler. Looking at a bunch of runes going down your sword or some gems on the hit would be better than a giant glow affect.

Can't do that, Diablo would be ripping off Hellgate: London, am I right?
Seriously though. Imagine playing in a game and everyone in your room has huge glow affects like in that video. For me, that would be so bright It would be like flash bangs going off everytime there was a battle lol. Color and affects are good. But when you go overboard like they did in the gameplay trailer its just WAY to much.
Wow, that's such an over-exaggeration it's not even funny. I can image it and it looks fine on my end because I don't over-exaggerate the fact to cause a useless debate.

Actually Act 1 didn't feel corrupted at all to me till a little past the Barracks, either way it wasn't lacking vibrant colors. Now you're just looking for a useless argument - Blizzard already said "Too bad, live with it".

The problem is We`ll probably never see anything like Act 3 Mephisto's prison,
The game is just to joyful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A little Blood never heart anybody !!!!!!!!!!!!
    I`m disapointed.

What the hell are you talking about? This game is twice as gory as Diablo II, you saw a few places outside and you think it's joyful?

    Quote from "Kenzai" »
Actually the outdoors place wasnt corrupt at all, just a sunny, colorful, happy place and the monsters on it. Thats not how you create contrast.

So? Neither were MANY acts in Diablo II they were sunny, colorful and defiantly not corrupt what's your point? Oh I see, arguing useless semantics, carry on then because you'll eventually get somewhere with Blizzard and they'll listen to all of your great ideas - oh wait...

okay now I got a Question of my own.
    Is this build any good?

    Dual 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8800M GTX – SLI Enabled
    Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme X9000 2.8GHz (6MB Cache 800MHz FSB)
    4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 2048MB
    1TB (500GB x 2) 5,400RPM (8MB Cache)

I take it that's a laptop? Yes, that's excellent. I don't recommend gaming laptops, unless you plan to be moving a lot. Also, expect max 2 hours battery life with that. If ...

In my defense, what you said I'm thinking, is not at all what I said before. I said 3.46 divided into 2 cores, if you read it right. I never said that it ran at 3.46 all the time.

However, I took your advice, I went to one of those places you listed (I'm not saying which), and we'll see what happens.

Wasn't trying to be an ass about it, but the whole 1.7 GHz Dual-Core = 3.4 is just a marketing gimmick, just like the whole dynamic contrast ratio on monitors.

If some people are confused, this will probably confuse you more.

    1.7x2 does not = 3.4
    0.85x2 does not = 1.7
    1.7x2 = 1.7

In processor terms, involving multi-cores in one casing.

    Hows this then

LMAO! Yahoo answers?! Like I said, it doesn't work like that - the CPU's work together efficiently but not at a rated combined speed. Hence why a single core processor at 3.0 GHz will outperform a dual-core processor at 3.0 GHz in a single threaded environment. If you think your 1.7 GHz Dual-Core runs at 3.4+ you've got another thing coming son, there's also something called OVERHEARD. The cores are designed to handle separate applications rather than loading x amount of your CPU(one total CPU not core) on your entire CPU on one thread thus being more efficient. You're thinking, "hey I have two cars going at 100 mph, so 100x2 = 200" The cores DO NOT FUSE to produce double the frequency that's just not possible. Here's a pro tip, I recommend you look at Anandtech/Tomshardware/hardforum if you're really interested in learning something.

Do you have any suggestions for a good video card? What makes this one Garbage... lol

I havent bought a new pc in long time, im using a sooped up 10 year old computer, this computer is already 4 times better, but its still good to know. I am using an Hp pavilion 7960....512 ram, Pentium 4 and 1.3 GHz, 512 video memory.. time for a major upgrade lol.

if you have a better model, or link for all the peices i need to build it myself i would appreciate it.

Send me your e-mail in PM, I have a build for you under $900 that kills that HP.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s 32MB Cache
Antec Nine Hundred Black Computer Case
    G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000)
    CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W Power Supply
    LG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner
OCZ Vendetta 92mm Ball CPU Cooler
    ARCTIC COOLING MX-2 Thermal Compound
    GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3R ATX Intel Motherboard
    VisionTek Radeon HD 4870

$989 @ New Egg, I don't usually do prices for Americans (I'm Canadian) so these numbers can be a little high. Best thing is to usually look around in multiple places.

EDIT: If you want to go Quad-core feel free but the FPS gains/losses aren't worth it. Most benchmarks show the Quad-cores at a FPS disadvantage.

    The exact specifications are:

Intel core 2 Quad processor Q6700 - GOOD
    2.66 GHz, 8MB L2, 1066 MHz FSB - GOOD
    750 GB harddrive - GOOD
Vista Home Premium - 64 bit - YUCK, but GOOD
6 GB Ram - GOOD, OVERKILL
Graphics: GeForce 9500 GS - 768 MB dedicated, 2303 MB total available. - TERRIBLE

cost is $1030 - Note: i didnt buy it yet...but it seems like a pretty good computer...i already looked into building one. $1100 is total im willing to spend + tax. If you have suggestions..im open for them.

The rest of the specs are small stuff, like having card readers or lightscribe..Look up specs for yourself if you want.

    See bold.

Video card is junk, I believe you're overpaying for that rig by around $400. Does it come with a monitor?

2.66 GHz seems low for a quad core. I have 3.46 in this laptop on a dual core 1.73x2. Did you typo a 2 instead of a 3? Or maybe the site made a typo.

Then again maybe quad cores generally have less because of the 4 way attack lol. I've never looked into them much.

No, that's just right. 3.45 // 1.73x2? lol, Unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

Good computer minus the video card, garbage.

do you also like the colorful flavor. it just juices you up all citrus and tangy. like a pineapple during a sunny day on the beach. or a peach while rowing across a sleek river on a boat. maybe some soft bananas between your cheeks. each bite, so powerful so sweet, so delicious

Sounds like a typical day for me.

Yuck at pre-built computers! I'm 99.9% sure that will run it fine, but you need to watchout with those pre-built trash cans, they usually have integrated graphics cards which can't run jack.
