I think I'm too tired but I cant understand what your trying to say, I know it's probably written up correctly, but could you simplify that for my feeble mind.
They better have a large variety of armor, that would be terrible if half the population had the same armors running around with glowing seizure inducing weapons
well Blizz has not released a game after WoW's success yet so we honestly cant trust them 100%, so we don't know what they are going to do for SC2 and D3. Business wise, would be best to try get wow gamers to both other franchises. good for sales.
So then they are going for gameplay over graphics. I strongly support gameplay > graphics , but possibly adding bump textures
edit (hit refresh for some reason)--- will increase the overall look of the game. The gameplay looks great btw from what we have seen, but it does feel like the barb attacks a little too slow? but thats alright
Good point about the flow of the game, but to the RP'ers and other players of the d1 and d2 (not the " I have to get to lvl 99 rush my char mule items!!!" kind of player) i believe that light radius was an added bonus to the game.
True, but in the demo, you can clearly see he is extremely illuminated, to the point where it looks like he is under a spotlight.. but who knows maybe he is?
Mom can't pay for my graphics card and ram because I'm not some Kid who lives with his parents...
And go play D2 again, or D1...the character always creates their own light...
Clearly if you knew anything about D2 and D1, you knew there was items with +% to light radius... in D3 demo however it looks like the character is lit up the same amount no matter where. If he was in a pitch black room you could still see him
Why wouldn't you want them to change it? They would keep the exact same colours, gameplay and skills you just would have a higher detailed texture for everything. Don't like it? turn down the settings.. I dont see why blizzard needs to gimp their games because mom can't pay for your graphics card and ram.
edit- Also why does it seem like the character is in a spotlight no matter where he is , he illuminates the exact same amount.
Are you crazy, I tried WoW to shut my friend up, when I say WoW sucks, and aside from the char being 3D, it looks nothing like WoW, not even remotely close, nor is any of the gameplay like WoW.
If anything, it looks a lot like Diablo 2, just a bit upgraded, and added twists(like interactive surroundings).
PS. Also just for argumental sake, byw WoW got the whole char 3D design concepts from Diablo 2, so no, it looks/plays nothing loke WoW.
This is obviously to hype up D3 for the wow players. Good for business, maybe if blizz can keep 10mil wow subscribers and have them all buy D3, in the near future they can make a D4 that fits the real diablo theme and setting.
