    I think a big point of his post that you should get your head out of DII and recall that alternatives ways of managing things such as loot are possible.

    Seems to me that what you're saying simply points that the difficulty should give more stuff, not that you should be forced into redundant boss runs to advance.

    I think he is just saying that it was uncommon to find good items and since he new that his best chance at of finding items worth keeping was by doing boss runs, he did just that.

    However, I don't agree with his statement because it was pretty easy to find socketed gear that you use to make a rune word or sell. The thing is that people are often only looking for runes or popular uniques/set items and overlook the items that aren't as popular, but may still sell.

    I'm sure that security will be tighter. Spam bots will probably still be around, but I don't think they will be nearly as frequent at D2.

    As for map hack, when I started playing D2, I always used mousepads maphack. I liked it because I new exactly where to go and skip all of the unnecessary stuff. After Blizzard started banning people for using maphack, I stopped using it. After not having it around for a couple of games, I really got used to it and did not really find it a problem. The whole point of a game is to enjoy the whole thing or else why do they even waste their time adding in everything else?

    Just how everyone accepted the fact that the art style is not going to be changed, people will get used to playing without maphack and forget about it.

    I think that now that they have a cooldown on teleport and if they don't put a waypoint too close to the boss, then farming bosses should not be as bad as it was before. People are still probably going to try to farm the bosses since they will most likely drop the best items, unless they have a new system with more interesting ways to gain drops.

    need sulfur (9000). this seems like a large amount to me so anything you can spare is appreciated. i will pay you back with any other resource if you like, however, it will take time for me to gather it.

    ps. thank     you siaynoq for the glass offer, but i actually just made a colony on a glass island, so there is no need anymore. thank you anyway ^_^V

    ha pretty much. just make a new colony by us and dont delete the old one until you are going to make a new one. in the old one, take all the citizens out of work except the people doing research. better?

    oh and if anyone could give/trade me some of their glass i would really appreciate it. im at 97:88 accout name neojonathans. thanks

    yea you can colonize there. its a far trip from where you are so i suggest you send all your resources over there, take all the citizens out of the forest/ luxury mine, leave citizens in your observatory, make the new colony, build the gov. residence, make it your palace, and delete your old colony just before you make a new one. this will also make the colony you are about to make, your capital. i leave the old colony up so that you can gain money and research from it. its a long way to the place that you are making your new capital so just delete is later before you make another colony. i hope i didnt confuse you =/
