I'm sure that the candle holders really are copy pastes. It's a PRE-ALPHA version of the game and lots of graphics were slapped on there just to get it ready to show at the WWI.

No, not just the armour is the same, the textures also draw similarites. Infact the candle stick holder and candles in that one screenshot look like they've been copy pasted from WoW.

Player character, as much as the raving Fanboi's on this forum hate to admit it are very WoWesque (sorry there is no denying it) I was hoping that they would try and take the style more to the roots of Diablo 1 than let the Azerothian feel bleed over into D3.
Having said that the Starcraft original design concept for the terrans was changed because fans of the original thought the colours too bright and cartoon like, its possible they will do the same for us (we can hope).
only 5 classes, bit of a disapointment there I was hoping for at least the markup we got from the original to the second... 8 has a nice ring to it.

The style is much different. If you compare the same species (as in a human with that human you supplied for the DIablo III example), you will find that the WoW human's muscles are completely disproportionate and impossible, while Diablo III's are plausible.

I find the armor on the right to be much more detailed and realistic looking. The armor on that Orc looks terrible and VERY cartoonish.

Gin and ycat, you guys seem to have the same point of view as me. But on this forum, we're head hunted.
Hopefully once the game gets closer to release the graphics will obviously appear cleaner, and that they will darken it up a bit.

Its clear that it draws its artistic style (READ NOT THE SAME QUALITY OF GRAPHICS; WoW IS SEVERAL YEARS OLD) from WoW.
