Quote from@ Valeo: I think not. I heard them speak about 'a certain amount of customizability' aswell.

"Unlike Warcraft, this is not a game about crafting your own unique virtual persona. Other than the classes and the gender, avatars aren’t customisable; instead the idea is to “dive right in and get to the monster killing”

What movies are you into? Most movies just repeat the same formula that has been done before. I don't mind a bit of action though I prefer movies like Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind etc. I reckon every genre has it's place. You can't watch the same type of movie all the time. Some movies are thought provoking, some are just for entertainment purposes on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
I watched Sunshine yesterday expecting it to be terrible. I was pretty suprised. The last 3rd of the movie kinda ruins it, though.
300 is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, by the way. It had a few moments of cool action but I just didn't get it.
I truly do not think that the quality is any different to, say, 10-15 years ago. There have always been bad movies and there have always been exceptional movies. It's just like books and any other form of entertainment.

This guy knows a LOT of blizzard employees so his word is good enough for me. No need for any more speculation.

I liked Titan's Quest's graphics.
Lets be realistic, though - the game is not going to be 2D. That just doesn't really work that well in todays market. I know that we want it to be like Diablo 2, the game a lot of us poured years into, but it isn't going to be that similar in terms of graphics. The gaming industry has progressed since 2000. There are different expectations and standards that have to be met.
However, just because it is not 2D doesn't meant that they cannot recapture the same atmosphere. This is Blizzard we are talking about.
