But to be on-topic, I think what blizzard is getting at here, is not the highest upgrade possible, but merely some sort of cosmetic armor, like a reindeer suit or something, because like Siaynoq said, everything is "epic" these days...

There were also a couple of purple items, but basically it's just a purple text saying: "Two-Handed Axe" and "Short Staff", and 1 amulet in gold saying...well "Amulet", so didn't bother taking screenshots of it.
If people want to see screenshots of various runes / potions dropping, just ask and I'll get them online.
Again, not sure if someone did this, so srry if it has, otherwise enjoy =)

this is easily seen, because on the splash, the thing between the eyebrows makes a POINT downwards,

I disagree, the smarter thing to do is make people take like a mini-test, before they can register during events like these. And make them answer questions about diablo2 and general stuff, to get an age verification thingy.... and yeah, I also just registered, but just to get more replies on 1 page, instead of 1240 pages >.<

this is the same thing that i've bee wondering about...because as far as i know we'll get 5 or 6 days (depends on wether the actual day will also add something)...but either way not 4... + the image that warholy made from memory displayed the "back" portion way more to the right, so it could be possible that the next image will be rectangular in shape to fit between the blocks, like this:
