Is it the area that you watch it from? I'm currently watching it from Hong Kong, and all I see is the WWI logo, is that right?
They said something about a test signal to see if it works. So am I suppose to see something move or just the logo?

Actually, I think the worldstone is suppose to break the boundaries between heaven and hell (demons were already on the mortal realm even when the worldstone was uncorrupted :P).
So I think tyrael was corrupted by baal somehow (his soulstone was never destroyed), and baal made tyrael finish his initial plan. Which was to break the boundaries between heaven and hell, therefore allowing hell to run loose on heaven. Remember years ago, "sources" said diablo III takes place in heaven? Making a lot more sense now.

Exactly. Which is why now I think Blizzard has actually opened themselves up for another sequel.
For those who missed it. its here http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Worldstone
Also. Just to clear things up. Destroying the soul stones ONLY prevent the prime evils from corrupting the mortal realm. They might not be actually dead. Since they could still screw up heaven now that the world stone is destroyed. (Which I think is baal's initial plan . Thats a big twist)

The fate of baal's soulstone has never been revealed. And also, from the link above, it would seem like the worldstone may not necessarily need to be destroyed at all. And Tyrael may have been corrupted by baal before hand, and baal's actual plan was to break the worldstone, which allows hell to run lose to heaven.
I think a Diablo III is very promising. I really do believe it will be revealed in WWI.
edit: Just to add. Soulstones ONLY prevent the prime evils from corrupting the Mortal realm. But says nothing about screwing heaven up

Remember, some say that the warrior of Diablo I was the wanderer, the Summoner was the Mage and the Rogue was Blood Raven.
But there is no specific hero for Diablo 2, so maybe all of the heroes killed the prime evil together?

I think its fair to say, that if Diablo III wasn't announced and that the "media" has been lying to us. I'm pretty sure we'll start seeing murder cases on the news with a letter D and III on the victim's chest. But that is only speculation, it might not happen. Afterall, Blizzard could be giving out false announcements.

Someone really needs to make a thread that sums EVERYthing up.
But right now, I think blizzard is making us look closer and closer to the monitor. And before you know it, on saturday. POW RIGHT IN THE KISSER.

There really isn't a proper "theory" on what those markings are yet unfortunately. Some say it looks like infinite, some say they're numbers, which links to diablo 3 and starcraft 2 or even the amount of time before the release date.
I for one haven't paid too much attention on those signature like things. But the one that looks like an infinite, beside the protoss symbol, looks a bit like one of the diablo runes. Whiles the one beside the frostmourne one is just....... all over the place. Btw the frostmourne rune has altered if you missed it.

I think the general rule when you leave the forum and return again a few hours later is that :
Diablo Fanatics have beaten the dead horse to the point where gold is coming out of the horse's arse.
Whatever you see on the picture, will have already been mentioned over 60 times in the previous 1 post.

Bad drawings never fail to amuse me.:P

I don't mind if its related to SC2 or Warcraft. As long as diablo 3 is going to be announced, I don't care if Blizzard is making Sims Vs Warcraft.

So if a company was going to announce a new project only 1/3 of the fans should know?

One can never say any blizzard game lore is least developed. They expand to books :O. But for me, starcraft had a very good lore, very thought out, and very detailed. If you ask me, Starcraft 2 was truely blizzard's masterpiece. The story was so genius, so twisted, when I first played it I went crazy. Now add that to the 9 years of waiting sequel and the biggest cliffhanger of them all. Ouch for starcraft fanatics.
But still, I am around 80% sure that the announcement will be Diablo 3, solely because Blizzard is just too good with lore to start an IP through MMORPG, which usually have no real base at all.

Starcraft Fanatics suffered a lot more than any other of the franchises. At least diablo had a quite a quick sequel. Starcraft..... had the biggest cliff hanger compared to warcraft and diablo, and required the longest time for a sequel.
