Well, regardless to how Blizzard is designing the game (trust me, I understand it is a PvE game), Dennis and Kevin plan to spend a lot of their time playing in the arena as I feel many other will do as well. This is what makes the game fun for them.
As for me, I do not like PvP. I would prefer to kill demons than other players. Luckily for those of us like me, 95% of the game is catered towards us.
Let them be happy with their measly 5% of the game
But seriously guys, you have to talk about some PvE in my absence
Agreed! Rep for you!
PvE is one of the most challenging & fun aspects of Diablo, especially in Hell or Nightmare.
More so in groups than solo where everyone has to do his/her part to survive & get those uber loots.

I suggested this model to my friend who was an avid WoW player (noticed the word "was") that instead of paying on a per month basis, why not pay for 60 hours (or whatever x number of hours) of play?
Whenever you login to play, the time starts counting down until you used up the x number of hours and would have to get a new card. Kind of like those pay-as-you-use mobile phones. But he replied to me a very simple answer: If they do this, then getting people into the game to do 30 man raids would be tiresome since everyone would play only whenever they feel like it without the urgency.
And immediately I saw what he was getting at and it made sense. That is in fact, one of the main reasons I've stayed away from MMO generally. Not because I could not afford it but because I do not want a game that I own to end up owning me.

More so if Cain is one of them!
0
1) Male and female genders for each Classes (Male Pally/Female Pally, etc...)
2) More item variation for armour/weapons types at level range (Scimitar/Saber/Saif/etc...)
3) Horadric Cube or any other recipe making/item assembling features
4) More advance quest system (Retrieve Item X for Person A or Give Item X to Person B to complete Quest C, only one choice can be made with different rewards and consequences, etc..)
5) Cain (so that I am able to kick his butt :D)

Your class still rocks!!
0
1) Warlord (Barbarian) Neutral
Somewhat similar to the Barb class but major revamp of the skills needed.
Weapon Mastery, Tactical Skills, War Chants
2) Cleric (Paladin) Good
Like Pally but somewhat weaker in melee (initially) but much stronger in buffing.
Protective Aura, Agressive Aura, Weapon Skills
3) Shieldmaiden (Amazon) Good
Amazon-like but with more emphasis on melee.
Archery Skills, Polearm Skills, Enchantment Spells
4) Deathknight (Necromancer) Evil
The Anti-Paladin with more emphasis on combat and debuffs/curses.
Undead Spells, Debuffs & Curses, Combat Skills
5) Elementalist (Sorceress) Neutral
Self-explainatory.
Fire Spells, Cold Spells, Lightning Spells
6) Vampiress (Assasin) Evil
Assasin-like, quick, fast and deadly with leeching, bleeding and DOT damages.
Vampiric Spells, Vampiric Skills, Dark Arts
7) Shaman (Druid) Neutral
Self-explainatory too.
Summoning Spells, Shape-shifting Skills, Poison & Healing
There are indications of Good, Neutral or Evil beside each class. Hopefully, Blizz gives us alternatives to do quests and storyline based on the alignment and choices of our characters.

These are the ones that give the game much needed replayability but I went with character classes.
Reason being is that I wouldn't want to play the same old classes like D2's Barb, Pally, Necro, etc... If they have a melee combat damage dealer, I want them to call him something else and should look different from the Barb...
My 2 cents...

Very original and interesting!
The Lotus Blades and Thorn Javalin really got me interested!

I would take the Hellish side first, just to see what kind of shenanigan I could do...

It could be announced this year or the next but it would certainly be announced. My guess is that the third Blizzard team could be working on Diablo 3 or another MMO. If it is another MMO and not Diablo 3, then after Starcraft 2 is done, that team would probably take on Diablo 3.
My 2 cents...

You are right. Both Everquests are doing well...
Ahh... That's good to hear...
You are right. My apologies if I sounded disapproving of MMOs but I really hate the P2P schemes. I would not mind a Guildwars type of MMO at a slightly higher retail price.
Agreed. The multiplayer and MMO market is greater than the singleplayer and Bnet ones. But do not forget that there are already plenty of MMOs out there and while Blizzard could make another MMO, it would certainly eat into their own WoW pie.
Again, I have to agree with you here. Money is a great motivating factor to churn out patches and continual support from the developers and publishers. That, I do not deny. Still, one can certainly hope that there would be some form of singleplayer element if Diablo 3 do get release.

Firstly, I doubt Blizzard will put another MMO when they still have WoW churning in money. It will eat into their own market if they release another MMO.
Second, I would not pay to play another WoW-like MMO. In fact, I won't even bother to read the reviews or anything since I do not support MMOs in general.
Lastly, I think Blizzard wants to tap onto the Single Player and BNet market. They still can make some form of money via BNet allowing in-game advertisement, etc...
