Well, guys, I'm finally at University! I was one of the first people on my floor to arrive here this morning, we got (pretty much) everything sorted out. I just need to get my text books, etc. and then I think I'm ready for the academics! Classes start on the 10th for me, being this Thursday. Haha, I guess I got my wish - I got a quick summer and now back and learning again. :D (Yeah I'm a nerd, shut it).

Move-ins stop at 4:00pm, currently it is 2:50pm my time. I just finished ripping all the music from my CDs and identifying them on the laptop, I bought an ethernet cable from the store in the near the main Lounge. SO I got internet, music, all my notebooks and shit ready, bed is made, everything I brought is unpacked, my parents left a few hours ago. So, now I guess I just gotta wait... I don't like that, lol.

Well, from what I've been told, there is a "floor" meeting at 4pm anyways, when the move-ins are done. So I guess that means I get to meet with all the other people on my floor at said meeting, and... stuff. Lol, so 2 options: Sleep, or read?

Right now I got Mustard Plug playing from my laptop, the kids passing by my room probably think I'm some strange kid or something LOL.

Btw, this is in spam, because it doesn't really matter, I'm just bored... so yeah. :D

edit: Oh, by the way, yes I brought my D2:LoD CDs with me as well. ;) ANd my laptop already has Eastern Sun installed on it. I also have STEAM (account name: KillerSwift), but no STEAM games. Feel free to add me. But lemme know who you are before then!

    i hardly watch it anymore.
the standard has dropped so much compared to the 90s

It has, I know. We've lost a ton of great players, some didn't even get to show their whole potential because of injuries (Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, anybody?). But I still love cheering my favourite teams on :) And it is still exciting and fun every year, unless Detroit, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston do well and clog the latter rounds of the finals, then the NBA becomes stagnant and boring.

Would be cool if Steven Jackson comes to Dallas too. People are saying we should trade Josh Howard for him but I don't know how that would work out.

I agree with Kalutzii for sure on this point because Stephen Jackson is a leader and the go-to guy on GSW, and I don't think he could except a bench role, even if it is with a championship caliber team. However, if he did learn to accept a role, and the Mavs wouldn't go over the cap (and didn't lose Josh Howard) then it would be a great fit, as he and Terry could provide a huge burst of offense off the bench.

Yeah, probably. I'm still upset Blizzard didn't show up at the FanExpo in Toronto last weekend, I could have lost my soul playing it! :( There were a lot of WoW cosplayers though, and no lack of Blizzard shirts on other people.

Well we used to have a thread in the General Polls section, but it has died done, and is likely long gone and forgotten by most of us that posted there. That I find very unfathomable due to this summer being a very... active and lively one, by anyone's standards, I am sure.

Since last thread was titled for last season, and was a poll more-less, and is also now dead - I think its time we ought to bring this community's basketball fans back up for a chat, aye mates?

So talk, talk away, my lovely basketball fans! :D

As for myself, I am enjoying it greatly: Dallas, Orlando and Toronto have gone under major overhauls. Toronto only keeping 3 of its players that it had at the beginning of last season: Jos? Calderon, Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani. I am pumped, but I don't want to get ahead of myself, especially after last year's disaster. =( Lets hope we can keep our heads together this year, and go a round or two into the playoffs for once!

I too love this idea! However instead of only one item dropping per round, I think 2 or 3 items should drop at the end of each round, but you can only choose 1 item.

If doing it in a party-mode type of thing, then maybe have each player choose from a seperate "table" of 3 items? And defitnely have better items be rewarded at the end of each wave for:
    -tougher waves
-when you lose no health against a wave
-beat a personal time record for a specefic wave
-use fists only (no magic, no skills, no weapons) against a whole wave
-have no FF accidents at all in a wave?

    More ideas to come ;D

posted a message on Fifth Class Brainstorm
I like everything you said in your first theory, except for 1 fact:
You stated that the Witch Doctor is just a revamp of the necromancer, and that the amazon and druid have yet to be included. However I think that the Witch Doctor is a mix of Necromancer and Druid together.

As for the final class, I am confident it has something to do with bows (duh?!). But, lol, as I was talking with Necronergal the other night (before the Mon was released), we were fantasizing about what the new ranged class could be. And I made the suggestion that it was some form of a "Weapons Master", where they were talented with using lots of weapons at once and in unison with perfect combos. So they weren't a brute force of strength (Barb), and didn't rely on being unarmed and still bulky (Monk), but did not use pure magic and summons (With Doctor and Wizard). However being a master of weapons, it could allow her (yes, I am going out right here and now, that this last class will be canon-female) the old ability of "throwing a weapon" but not in the lame and unjustified manner they did in D2.

In DIII, they should make it look graphically awesome, and something to look at, and not just some small grey line travelling across the screen that makes the enemy flinch for a second when contact is made. One skill/spell him and I thought of (a high level one, of course), would be where the Weapons Master jumps up into the air, and unleashes hundreds of small, miscellaneous weapons and they would come crashing down to the ground, piercing and slaying many enemies at once. And when she lands, you can right click again, as the second stage of the skill/spell, where each individual weapons explodes, dealing out even more damage to any of the possible survivors. Seriously, how badass would that be? it remains graphically pleasing and orgasmic, where at the sametime keeping it a ranged-based idea, and not even relying on bows! Although I still think bows will be needed. How they implement will be up to their genius.

    edit:

I forgot to comment on the map! I would like to ask something, is it confirmed that the Wizard REALLY is Asian? If so, can I be linked to whatever proof there is? Also, lets say she is "asian" in skin colour and art and stuff, does that 100% guarentee she's from Xian'Sai or whatever that island is called? Also, I'd rather you not circle the Skovos Islands, because Amazon has been done already, and Amazons inhabit that palce, thus I see no possible character that could arise from there? Unless they're really unique with their background, which, I'd admit, would be rather intriguing, ne? As for Dreadlands, nothing is there. And same with the swamp lands, unless Blizz plans to create a new city there. So that leaves us with Tur Dura and Westmarch area. Ideas for lore, people?

Its possible, but I don't see the point in waiting that long? It would quite easily be much more simple just for the alliance to be disbanded, and then someone with an embassy could upgrade it and found a new alliance?
