Yeah I didn't want to recommend bounties because they would naturally run them in a party, which would set them up for failure as other party members run around like jolly green giants one-shotting all the pet gobs. Lol.
I went with my not-so-secret pennant agenda instead.

The Zeph posted a message on About the Goblin GigglePosted in: Diablo III General DiscussionThe goblin post was a good read. I always find posts like that interesting. So much more thought goes into things like this then one could imagine. I like it and since posting things like that doesn't effect game development, balancing or content its fine and great that they write things like that. Makes you understand more of the thought progress behind a game, which is great!

The Zeph posted a message on Conquest - some advice pleasePosted in: Diablo III General DiscussionAh, finally found the Cursed Chest in Drowning. Were no problem almost failed due to having to much attack speed which made sweeping wind fall off, twice... some precious seconds wasted without noticing.
I guess I just needed some motivation. Thank you!

I suppose if you had about a thousand forgotten souls you could gather enough bounty mats. My character has almost 2000. But I don't think you need to go that route for your first bow.
Quivers are a better way to spend blood shards.

drizzt_ posted a message on You're playing D3 to long when you want to play on other regions.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
This. I was 1 of the 2 wizards of my group, 1 DH and 1 monk. We split in an open map (didn't loot anything, just progression globes), and when the final boss appears, I inmmediatly teleport to town (the boss last 1 or 2 seconds) and click Orek (then returned to loot the boss). It was just a public T10 rift with random people, wasn't planned... (sorry for my English)Quote from oldschool_2o4f»
Yeah, get three very good wizards to run it while you sit in town to click Orek. Was quite tight time wise.
Thank you again Fragstar!

PsykStrike posted a message on Where do i roll ?Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionI would say that your re-roll would depend on your CDR, as this weapon (and presumably, build) requires constant usage of soul harvest. By minimising downtime on the skill, you maximise your dmg (and likely also defensive) bonus. I wouldn't really bother re-rolling the +dmg as suggested above, as there is not much to be gained (+3 on the min roll and +43 on the max roll). Keeping in mind that this is ancient and has good stats all around, I would assume that it will not be replaced/scrapped for a very long time; given this I would say that you can afford to favor capped stats (i.e. AS, CDR, Elite Dmg) over uncapped stats (main stat, vit). In other words, assuming CDR will still benefit you, I would re-roll the int to CDR and focus on paragon to make up the int loss.
If losing the int doesn't appeal to you, then I would suggest re-rolling the AD, as the stat itself can be boosted by a significantly higher margin than the competing +dmg stat.
(1940 - 1897) 43 (missing max roll) / 1940 (highest max roll) * 100 = ~2.21% increase
(24 - 18) 6 (missing AD roll) / 24 (highest AD roll) * 100 = 25% increase
It can be difficult to directly compare +dmg with AD, as +dmg will provide a constant bonus, while AD will provide multiple instances of a dmg bonus, but only on proc. Personally, I would favor the AD due to tendencies towards high density environments, which increases the likelihood and effects of AD procs. I should also mention that the likelihood of rolling 24% AD is substantially higher than rolling 1560 - 1940 +dmg (you will probably never get this, ever).

Perhaps, we're overthinking something that, in the end, we're gonna punch ourselves in the face and go " JEEEZ, that was SIMPLE!!"
Pay no mind to me, I'm just an old fart....sometimes I just blurt out shit for no reason!

Why is it you play?
If you want another one, get another one. If you don't, don't.

Ideally, high damage roll, high + damage, socket, +10% damage, high dex.
Typically, IF you can land a Ramaladni's Gift ( very rare drop , looks like a little green box), find a high damage xbow and reroll for the one thing that it may not have out of the above list. many reroll the socket into more damage and then apply the Gift for a socket.
Can't stress though that you want all of those characteristics quite high less one AT MOST. If you get a GIFT, don't get impatient, get a good weapon to use it on.
I would concentrate on Marauders chest on Kadala FIRST. It will get you that 6piece bonus immediately, gloves or no, and you'll keep your socket in helm for a while. This one piece alone will rock your world and most likely get you comfortably into T6 to farm to your hearts content.
Gratz on the Boon of the Hoarder, will make that gem upgrading less painful. Also, salvage all rares, blues. With the Boon you won't need to sell anything anymore for cash and you'll want reoll materials.
Bounties are dropping more cache legs, so a source of souls minimally, rifts good for drops as well for equipping and souls for enchanting.
The unity IF it's not your best ring, isn't useful otherwise until you get a 2nd on follower COMBINED with a legendary RELIC for the follower that prevents its death. If it IS your best ring, nevermind.

Craft a Fleeting Strap for belt temporarily till you find better.
Try for a high damage slow 2hd xbow. Buriza, pussspitter, what ever. for sentry damage.
Pick fire of cold, used to be physical too, not so much now I guess?
Sadly you'll need the two pieces of Mara you don't have as you'll want to get rid of the gloves for Tasker n Theo's, Magefists, frostburns, whatever direction you go in. Magefists probably easiest to get, I dunno.
Farm highest you can do relatively quickly and gamble Kadala, she's a fickle one. I got T&T's off her last night ON MY MONK! (sigh...)
