I also think it will be pay to play but I dont think there to stupid to make it the same as WoW like i saw on another post they might make you pay for hour or such
yesss, that does sound devilish! Just thinking, before wow came out, im quite sure that there were more Diablo fans than warcraft fans, so imagine if they had made a diablo mmo instead? Sound logical? Im sure they would have made much more money. Maybe theyre all just idiots. I find that like a more logical explanation every day...

i think there should be like some stands where u can watch and place bets like surfinstud said, but not only money they could bet items too, and in the lobby there would be like a count down for the duel time so that everyone could join and watch so u either get the fame or the shame
also there should be an option before the duel starts where the duelers choose if the winner gets to take the items of the one that they have slain just to make it a little more realistic a little like the hardcore

Even if the 2 guys betting would get half of the money they bet and the winner of the fight would get the other half! Or have some way to tell who is the best and lots of arena stats like:
Who has won the most fights
Who has won the most gold
Highest stakes Fight Gold&Item wise

Losing your char is very Extreme and unneccesary... but
You people need to realize that its not that your always losing stuff & Money. You need to learn to be on the other side and be the ones killing for better stuff and a great Rep. No one will talk about you if you killed the Most Creeps but if your a ver good PK! REcognition all over it!!! =D
So inconclusion Realize there is two sides not everyone is getting owned and losing shit =D
