This is not WoW gu_nemesis.... there are no support characters.... if blizzard makes a char, they intend the char to be able to deal direct damage either through physical, magical or pet damage.... so that all chars that are playable can solo the game if wanted.... so please... dont suggest any more healer support classes...

they have said this will not be a pay2play game.... it was one of the early interviews... pretty sure its in the news thread... Jay Wilson said he wanted the game to be a one time fee
well they havent gone into specifics... but they have said they want to get rid of PK'ing.... so I would assume the hostility would have to be mutual. Their are trying to make diablo much more of a cooperative game... prob where you get much more benefit from partying with someone rather than going hostile and just stealing their shit.
well they may allow it but you should not be able to do it the other way, ie single player to b.net.... they have the chars on b.net saved on their servers so you can't hack it with a trainer.... if you can download the char, you can then mod it with a trainer and then load it back and then your god... until every other person does it on b.net and then nobody is having fun.... they won't allow chars to be uploaded to b.net but I guess I could always see an option for it to be downloaded permantly.
Thta must be something important, or atleast blizzard thinks it looks cool. That is the picture shown on the main blizzard page. It could be an alter for a fallen angel....who maybe takes over if you beat diablo in mid-game like you do with the addition of LOD to D2... could also become a protector of the realm gateway after his fall from grace. either way, def is an angel and def doesnt look friendly

I would say a ranger class... can be either male/female.... uses bows/crossbows and can be melee specializing in smaller fast weapons like an assassin (yes... aragone in LotR was a ranger and he used a long sword... but I believe smaller weapons are more fitting to the percieved "ranger class" for diablo)
Only act 1 is done? I hope they dont have 15 acts in this game then... gonna be another 5 years before its released if so.... sweet to hear 4 of the 5 chars are doing good... wonder which character is giving them trouble? Wonder what the troubles are?
Ya... a movie would be sweet... but you know how things go with Blizzard and time schedules, we would get one movie every 10 years... where companies like pixar can pump great movies out every two to three years...
Yes, the recent PS3 release mentioned must be MGS4... my god... you would play 20 minutes and get a 45 minute cut scene.... it was a little rediculous. I mean it was nice to feel like you got alot fo information about what was going on in the story and such... but if I wanna play a game.. I wanna play a game.... not watch a movie.
But, Im sure blizzard will have where you can click through the cinematics again like they did in D2... so no worries about speed

Thank god it'll be free to play... very afraid they were gonna go the wow route on this. A release date of late 2009 is actually pretty quick IMO... so stop complaining... already waited 8 years, whats one more?
