wow that is real nice man.. love the mace and the posture.. :P

u really took the details nicely out of the sprite if thats where u referenced it from :D

    nice work man...u need to start using more shades of pencil tho..grab a 2b,4b,6b that shud do the trick :}

Took details from the sprite, but added some things, because it's just too simplified. Lol yeah, it's all HB, I drew this one night and I had nothing elese but an HB mechanical pencil.

I hope that he didn't spend all those 20 years in the Pandemonium Fortress.
Then that tired, broken look doesn't look odd at all.

Thats what I was trying to convey, as if he spent all that time there guarding it.

Thank you Voxorb, for observations. Sometimes I need a second pair of eyes to look at something to see whats wrong with it.

Yeah I was going for the Halbu around D3 time, hence some creative changes. I will try to correct it, I usually just draw something then throw it away never to be seen again, I don't care about little problems in the composition, but will try to do that, and I'll try to color it, too, with dark colors, because it's much too bright. I'll give him a colder expression in the face though I liked the tired look in his face.

Thanks, nah I figured he was around 40 in the last one so he'd be 60 in the latest installment.

A drawing of my favourite npc-vendor in diablo Halbu from the fortress in act 4. I tried to add 20 years to him, as if he was in diablo 3.

    Now Inked!

The hand, fingers and joints look real good, but the wrist doesn't seem right more specifically the joint of the wrist on the right side, the two bones seem like they're sandwiched together, fix you shading, it seems like theres a fold in the skin when there souldn't be any because the skin is stretched on that side.

posted a message on Act 4 Corrupted Tyrael End Boss
    Quote from "Vadoff" »
It's always been Blizzard's habit of corrupting the good guys.
But, I don't think Tyrael will be corrupted. He's always been on humanity's side, and even broke laws of non-interference in order to aid humanity.
Also, his character and strength seem above and beyond those of other Blizzard characters who have fallen to darkness.

Perhaps so, but from the mentionned artwork it is quite evident that we see an angelic figure changing form, perhaps he's not turning evil but merely more powerful, but we do see a corruption in his image that portrays a sense of evil.

posted a message on New classes shown?
That was most definately an NPC, they were showing her during the npc bit. If not it was either, a Barbarian concept sketch, they're not bringing back the god-damn druids because they sucked and they said so that the the barbarian is the only class coming back.

In detective work, a lead is something you can follow to find some hard evidence.

This.. is a dead end, as we will not be able to follow through.

    Still, good report.

    Lol...pfft.. thanks for that lesson.:offtopic:

posted a message on Φ Graphics Discussion (New art style proposal to Blizzard)
    Quote from "Varth" »
    nope :P lol

basically, I want the graphical detail of an oblivion-like game, mixed with the perspective and play style of Diablo, and that it somehow captures that magic that Diablo 1 had with the balance of "Graphics, Sound, and Setting (tone of the game)." That is what was lacking so much in Diablo 2 which was the tone of the game. At no point in the game, except maybe in hell, did I feel like the game was on par with the feel of Diablo 1. Nor was I scared at any point in the game which was a real let-down. I never got that heart pounding "OMG I'm surrounded by 30 monsters and I'm about to get fucked!" It was just "Oh...I got raped by a cow...oh well, lets get my corpse..." I also liked the full-on hardcore mode of Diablo 1. It was perfectly balanced that you can go through the entire game and not die if you're smart, but if you're stupid, you'll die and die and die....that and if you died, you had to revert to your last save point. D2, oh lemme just get my corpse...no, you had to remember to save or if you did something stupid and got boned, you might be unlucky enough to have to go and clear another dungeon or two. And before you say "there's hardcore mode" Diablo 2 is so freaking unbalanced I'm not even going to stress over hardcore mode...just what I need is to get raped by an overpowered immune everything monster or die thanks to server instability.

And ya...I just played through Diablo 1 again this week end and I did get scared a couple times (not expecting to get my ass handed to me at key points...monsters jumping out from no where while I was distracted looking at my gear...you know, that stuff). But I gotta say, I had the time of my life. I forgot just how fun Diablo 1 was and I reallllllllllly hope that Diablo 3 can capture that again. lol it should be required for the developers to play Diablo 1 every day before they get to work lol
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I agree with you.. I got to say one thing, I felt like being retarded earlier today and go on you tube to look at fake diablo 3 trailer's, and I saw one that was almost believable, it was a bunch of bits taken from Kingdom Under Fire; Circle Of Doom, and certain of the parts I saw, I felt, truely belonged in a Diablo Universe.. So I'm just saying if we are comparing diablo 3 to what graphics of a game it should belong to, i say it should resemble KUF; circle of doom, the feel of it, through what I've seen through fake d3 trailers could work with d3, it's dark.
