i personaly dont find lighting efficient farming as a wizard. Wand of woh -> explosive blast must be the most effient build atm, i do not have a wand of woh so im using wave of force - heat wave for speed farming t1-t2.
If you do want to stick with lighting i highly sugest you to make use of paralysis and stack atk speed and try to use wave of force - static pulse for speed farming. i find that wave of force and your bracer work well together, you damage might be a bit lower on elite pack but you'll clear all trash realy faster.
if you do like how wave of force work you should be able to replace your +meteor damage by wave of force damage.
Thanks, I love electrocute as my primary, But due to the items I have found, I feel forced in to making everything else lightning too.
I can make a hallowed septre, I could re-roll the damage on my TF, I could re-roll my SOJ for a different ele, I actually have a 17% cold SOJ too.
I am kind of just waiting for new items to let my play a different style. I loved blizzard and cold blood passive with FO, and the Frozen Meteor, but with so much Lightning bonuses, i felt obliged.
B. Do you want to work towards higher torment levels?
I say this because a Lightning Build is going to cap out around max T3. Where as a fire or arcane build will carry you throw T5-T6. The TF you rolled is not all that amazing so trying to design a build around it is not a great idea. You would have better luck with a fire or arcane build, using Elemental Exposure. This would enable the lightning dmg from TF to proc stacks as well as your fire or arcane abilities. This would net you more dmg overall than you are currently putting out. Also you need to be more aware of rerolling your gear. You rerolled your chest into gold find when it has no sockets on it. That is a large dmg loss due to the loss of 3 int gems. You can reroll the AR on your neck into CD which will yield you a large dmg increase as well. I could go into a lot more detail but I think that is enough for now. Wish you the best of luck!
Yeah I found that chest really early on, And I didn't know how re-rolling worked at the time. which is why i took a trash stat and though i could get a socket out of it, But I know now. and i am waiting to make a demon hide chest piece anyway.I have the chantandos wand I can fall back on, and I can make a hallowed wand, so Building around the TF isn't a must, I just thought I had to do it to get the most out of my items. the ammy , i thought "all res" was majorly important so i kept it. the SOJ, i thought about re-rolling vit in to Attack spd.
More details please, if they are written down, I can always implement them later. I appreciate all you have given so far. thanks.
I'd try going for an arcane build with 4p tal rasha, you can use electrocute as your signature spell to proc the bonus and your lightning dmg on your SOJ would be of some use. Then you could reroll vit for crit dmg.
I'm trying to get some Tal pieces, got tons of fire pieces on the way so i'm using meteor shower for the time being.
I guess what i'm trying to say, is that while its good to have an ultimate goal and you should use your bloodshards to achieve it, you should adapt your build to whatever drops you get along the way
Plonker is correct, you should aim for the TR 4p. It's an amazing set once you get it and build around it. However that is a lot of farming and we have no idea where you are currently at with the set. Personally I have TR and Vry's 4p sets but use a fire build as I am missing +arcane gear at the moment. This game is ever evolving and so are the builds so you have to be able to alter your build accordingly if you want to stay competitive. The rest of what Plonker said is a repeat of what I mentioned. Once you choose a direction for your build then you use your Blood Shards to achieve this goal. Using Rift it Forward is a good way to get Blood Shards quickly and efficiently. Chantodo's is a decent weapon, as is the Hallowed wand. Depending on how they roll they may or may not be an increase over your current TF. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/attitude-1961/hero/33435932 here is a copy of my profile. I am currently using a meteor fire build. As I mentioned I have both TR and Vry's 4p sets. However I don't like the optimization so they remain in my stash.

But then I found a TF, and a Lightning SOJ, so I figured that I would go lightning all the way.
I use a lightning met now, and I swapped FO for The lightning blackhole.
Where do I go from here? what items should I look for next? Is pure Lightning viable I can do T1, but not as effeciently as I would like.
I do have the demon hide plan, but am still looking for the mats to make the pieces.

A. Do you want to be capped out at T2 maybe T3?
Or

(Edit) would love to be able to do T4-T5. 6 even.
