Gotta agree 100% on the crit thing. Never seen a game where every class' main offensive ability is based on critical hits. Seems odd, and really removes the impact of critical hits from the game. If 60% of my hits are critical hits.. is there really anything special about them? Although I see it being very difficult to remove this functionality without an overhaul of tons of skill runes, itemization, etc. Just seems odd, and makes crits just another core stat for every class, nothing special to see here. Hell, even the tankiest class in the game will focus on getting well over 50% crit chance... that's silly.
As far as trading goes, I'm of a mixed mind. You make a good point in regards to perhaps getting unlucky and never getting the item you're looking for. At the same time, if trading is allowed, an economy exists, and all the headaches that come along with it. Not to mention highly-desired items would be entering the game at a far faster pace (Because lots of great items are salvaged/vendored because they're not better for the receiver). Which means they'd either have to lower the drop rate (ew) or do something else to control the flood of items. Seems like a nasty thing to try to fix. Not sure what I'd like for that, although I'd definitely say the current system is better than if they just opened up trading.
Split farming I love as a farming technique, but it does make me reluctant to ever gather rift keys on my own. How can I validate the time spent when I'm literally getting 1/3 the caches and rift keys I could be (And that's assuming I'm far more efficient at bounties than my 3 team members, could be even more than 4x as fast) I agree that it's a minor issue, but I can't think of anything to correct it that doesn't just nerf it directly.
