The snakes are dangerous. They die among some of the quickest, but they can also kill the quickest. As opposed to the monsters that can't kill you quickly, but you have to hit them a hundred times to kill them.
I'd like to reiterate how much I hate the Black Souls in the Worldstone Keep. Despite all my hit points and lightning resistance, they still kill me in one hit. It's really a drag.
By the time I get to Hell difficulty, just about anything with lightning damage is a major headache for me. Particularly the burning souls. In Act V, if I went down to the Icy Cellar(?) and it was full of those things, I'd just be like, pfft, to hell with that.
If I really wanted what was down there, I'd simply save and quit then go back in. Cause unless I had them all go in on my fire golem and skeletons right away, they'd kill me in two hits. And it all happens so fast you can't even escape.
As for the Fetishes, the worst kind are the undead one. They chase after you like crazy and you can't melee them in Hell difficulty or they explode in knives and that also gets me every time.

The snakes can kill you really fast, but they can also be killed really fast.
Other monsters such as maybe the yeti, or something like that, won't kill you very fast in a game, but they take forever to kill.
