I'm having a hard time trying to play the sorceror. Basically because I frequently need to switch between holy bolt, heal and fire bolt and pressing s to bring up the spell list and selecting the new spell I need takes too much time in the heat of battle.
Sure, I would usually just practice to do quick successive clicks to increase the speed at which I toggle each spell, but I can't do this when I keep grabbing new scrolls and spells etc. along the way, moving the position of the spells I need
Is there a way of selecting a hotkey for each spell? Else, I think I'll need to create a macro for it. Yeah, I'm a spoilt new-age gamer that don't like difficult
Many of the later bugfixes introduced in patches for Diablo do not carry over into Hellfire, and Sierra only released one patch, fixing a small number of bugs exclusive to Hellfire itself.
Please, stay tuned as Puttah presents himself in more ridiculous scenarios, asking the most absurd of questions for your quizzing pleasure
What dooes scroll of search actually do? I can't seem to figure out what changes happen after I use one...?

Yeah I'm holding shift to keep my position and clicking constantly. One can only dream
hellfire isn't an official blizzard product? Uhh.. then who made it?
Thats fine. I'll monitor them closely when I use each to see if I can spot a difference.
The shift+click and hold doesn't seem to be working for me. I have to revert to the basic click-spam routine
Ahh thanks for the help. Yeah, on the first level dungeon in the cathedral (very first monsters you meet) I found it much too easy, then the second level was much too hard... hehe the pack of monsters tripled in size.
What is the difference between a scroll of healing and potion of healing anyway?
Basically, I've just started playing D1 and have a few simple questions about gameplay and what-not.
Ok firstly, is it possible to keep swinging my sword as a warrior without constantly clicking? Maybe shift+click and hold or something along those lines?
Secondly, should I get straight into the expansion and start playing that? If the expansion is anything like D2 LOD which I would consider just an add-on to the original, then I would definitely go with the expansion.
Thirdly, what is actually happening when I try use the warrior's repair skill on an item. It seems to lose its total durability. A consequence of repairing it myself? Maybe my skill in that spell isn't high enough?
Fourth and finally, when/how do I get new spells?
Thanks in advance
