I remember in The Hobbit even when Galdalf has to leave for awhile to fight the evil Necromancer. And when he gets back, everyone is like, "So Galdalf, where did you go anyway?" And he's all, "Eh, just had to go fight the Necromancer." And I'm thinking...seriously? I've been reading about dwarves and slaying dragons when instead I could have gone with Gandalf and read about his Necromancer adventure? That would've have been way more interesting.
yea the hobbit is an awesome book, its got that big druid who transforms right? or am i thinking of something else because i dont remember seeing any druids in LOTR.. in my opinion reading the hobbit was better than LOTR but LOTR had 3 books
they should of made another hobbit book about gandalf and the necromancer
it seems to me that in single player (for warriors/rogues.. i dont know about sorcerers) that the stats are leinent so even if you mess them up a little bit you can still manage to kill diablo
p.s-
Blood raven is the rogue from diablo1?
Horazons impersonator is the sorceror from diablo1?
is that true? or is it just the warrior who carries on
i heard sorcerers are the hardest, i imagine it would be annoying if you couldnt find any awesome spell books
also.. on single player its just 1 difficulty, when you kill diablo it quits the game and if you re-load your character then you go back to when it was last saved (which is usually just before you take on diablo)
on battle.net is there more than 1 difficulty? because getting to level 50 with 1 difficulty would be annoying (and impossible in single player because creatures dont respawn)
edit-diablo 1 is quite short, just 16 levels.. thats like act1+2 maybe in diablo2 lod... what about high level skills, you just dont get to use them in single player?
i didnt have to buy potions as much with rogue because everything dies before it reaches you.. so i did it with rogue faster
edit- also easier to kill those witch things in hell because you can attack from a distance , with warrior they constantly "run" away.. and you "run" after then at an amazing pace i may add...
first post...yay
i just downloaded diablo1 (because im too cheap to pay a few dollars) and i can understand why this was such a great game especially for 1996.. i can think of games which were released recently which werent as good.. it was shorter than i expected though (single player because b.net didnt work)
Long live Diablo
