Ah it's taken from "The Awakening" DnD description. So I wouldn't take it as canon. I don't believe the authors have anything to do really with Blizzard.
I think she was meant to be old in D1, but obviously they're depicting her as young in D3, whether it's just a concept for a flash back or what who knows.
I think she's going to be alive and well in the game though.
All their bodies are accounted for actually. I never noticed it either but the non lootable bodies on the ground account for them position wise and everything.
Anyway, on to the rest of that post: I hope Lilith doesn't become the focus, though. It would be like a Queen of Blades for Diablo- kinda like cheating us story-wise in a way. I don't know, that's just what I'm feeling.
I don't think she will be the focus of the game, maybe of the first act though. Kind of how Andariel was the focus of the first act in D2.
I don't think she was meant to have a age.
Then I think she's magically changed her appearance. I mean she can magically make a hut. So why not.
I think she's going to be alive and well in the game though.
Of course we can't get to where Adria was though.
Or it may be one of those things you know sometimes things get summoned that you can't control.
I don't think she will be the focus of the game, maybe of the first act though. Kind of how Andariel was the focus of the first act in D2.
It really looks like a ancient shrine to Lillth to me.
Maybe she wanted the prime evils resurrected so that it draws attention away from what she is doing.
Kind of like a decoy.
I mean here it looks like the same dungeon and appears as if they're trying to create or revive some giant creature.

What feminine demon would be carved under Tristram anyway?
I'm not genesis, but yeah.
They also go out of their way to show it in that picture AND the one in Cain's Journal.
Not to mention in 20 years of aging she's still smoking fine.
