All I know is: -4 fury cost on belt, -5 fury cost on Stone of Jordan + IK set and you can throw forever, even if you had 0% crit. Which means you can instantly change Battle Rage: Into the Fray to Battle Rage: Marauder.
I'm not playing Diablo 3 at all though, so that's just purely from reading patch notes.
a) Do abilities that are % weapon damage based take the average of your two weapons or are they mainhand only
If you have an Axe in your offhand and a Sword in your mainhand do you get +15% damage and +10% crit?
Weapons Master only counts your Main Hand weapon type.
Incorrect. Weapons Master applies to the weapon you make an attack with, nothing else. I.E. you have 2 weapons in your hands and you attack with each alternatively, the first one is an axe and the second is a sword, attacking with an axe gives you +10% crit, attacking with the sword gives you +10% dmg, it's that simple.
The calculation that is shown in your character sheet will only display the MH bonus, of course, unless you can make it think that you're attacking with the OH instead.
I'd be pretty surprized that this is how it works with WT. I could see it working with frenzy if you actually use both weapons in animation but with weapon throw your weapons aren't in your hands.
It'd be easy to test by putting an Axe in the offhand and putting the character sheet up and see if your CHC goes up on the second attack.
Not home atm so I can't check it but I will later
I actually tested that a few days ago. Axe in OH does NOT give crit chance while having Weapon Mastery.

He didn't mean that tho.
He meant if he use a skill like Ancient Spear , does it take the damage of both weapons or main hand.
anyway the answer to his question is it takes the main hand only , the only use for offhand weapon is to raise your total stats (except the damage)
I'm not so sure about that. With "auto-attacks" (Frenzy, for example), your character uses both weapons. He'll hit with MH first, then OH, MH again etc.. I'm leaning towards the average of both weapons, but not entirely sure.
Oh and about the shield thing: it's garbage. Go dual wield, it's a lot better. Double socket + 200+ strength on each weapon is way better than a shield. With decent resistances, you can survive 1 hit anyway.
It's all about budget. If you can drop 50mil on jewelry with CHC, res, ias and critical hit damage well go for it. Otherwise, shield works.
/e Also I don't like dieing and I rarely do with a shield so I'm happy with it
That's true, but a 800+ dps weapon with 200+ strength only costs about 0.5m these days. A decent gem, which in my opinion is 60%+ crit damage, is not that expensive either. The big bonus of crit damage is: it gives you a LOT of extra damage, since you're stacking crit already anyway. The shield does give a nice armor bonus though, it just boils down to personal preference.
Thanks for the video, I'll swap out Leap for the Sprint, that seems to do the trick to avoid most of the damage from the hell pools.
I don't see an Azmodan video by the way. Can't kill him with this build? I can easily kill the Siegebreaker, without even getting hit once (I do use Leap instead of Warstomp though). Azmodan kills me every single time with the "Hell pool" phase, I just can't survive it.
man you are shame for barb class, we are ment to be melee fighters, if you wanna attack at range go roll dh...
Congratulations, you just forced a week-long lurker to create an account. In Diablo 2 Barbarians could take the path of weapon throwing, hell, even one of the Ancients was a weapon thrower (he's also in Diablo 3). I enjoyed it a lot and still do.

It's wise to actually read the OP before you ask questions like that.
