That would be okay with me if they did that. Auras that only affect ememy monsters or even if there was one trademark aura ie accuracy gains for example. In the eastern sun mod there is a skill that really slowes down enemy monsters that i like, but thats just an idea. Perhaps the auras would have to be rather mild in order to justify them. Any ideas?
I agree, i dont want 20 auras, maybe five or six. and i dont want the auras to dominate the class. Maybe let it operate in a similar fashion the barbarians war cries did. What do you guys think?
That would be pretty fly if the class threw boomerangs and p'owned everyone. I would find it comical though if someone just cought the boomerang, although i know this is just a game, when i think about it in real life i picture someone just catching the thing after i threw it. Maybe unless the thing had spikes on it or something idk.
Actually, the more i think about it, the boomerang idea is kindof growing on me. If they made up a whole bunch of skills like multiple homeing boomerangs, where each of them seeks out a target ect and maybe they freeze their target like frozen boomerang or something like vally of exploding boomerangs. XD
I still think that this could be a really cool idea with the bow class having a few, maybe mild, auras. Perhaps with a bit of short sword action, idk. Honestly, I would pee my pants in excitement if they made this class. Its everything that i like in a character class. I dont doubt they can address any of the balance issues regarding being over or under powered as many people complained about with the paladin's auras in diablo 2. If they do I just hope they dont try and nerf it too much with in reason of course. XD
I felt the bows were underpowered in the game. Only when you found "the" ultra unique and powerful bow did you start to p'own other people and thats where I can see people complaining about "it not being fair" so the only point of my idea of the auras was to combat this problem.
How about a bow class character with auras!? The bow class was one of the support characters in my opinion so why now take that to the next level by giving the new ranged class auras such as health/damage/defense increases? I like the passive and magic tree but I agree with the person who once noted that there where 3 kinds of evasion ect which was really boring and used up a lot of your skill points.
In my opinion, the previous amazon had some good skills but only when you had crazy good weapons/loot. If you found your self in nightmare/hell difficulty and you weren't having much luck finding better weapons you could be stuck for days...gasp.. longer trying to make your character survivable again. Thats why I didn't like the amazon in diablo 2.
